UT has paid campus police. It knew Travis Co. would quash the arrests. UT should have handled its problem on its own without use of taxpayer resources. Deployment of APD and DPS was a waste of taxpayer resources. Let the universities take care of the universities, leave society out of UT's failed policies. UT and every other college and university in the state of Texas needs to take responsibility for itself. If students don't like what the university does, they are free to withdraw from the university and move their tuition to another state that would welcome their willingness to disrupt peaceful society.
