Sitting here at work being torn between chasing that American dream you spoke about and my bike that sitting at home waiting on me to finish my 14 day work cycle, I have often thought about getting up and walking out on this life I have built over the last 35 years of my life and spending the rest of what's left of my life on the back of my bike seeing the beauty that God put here for everyone to see. I guess I just am not as brave as you were to make that change so thank you very much for all that you share with us.
I started by taking many short forays into the neighboring state of Arizona. Sorta sticking my toes in the water. Had to simplify my miterial life to make time first though. Very satisfying. David Rockifeller once said, "Im going to enslave the American people using debt". Many have fallin victim.
And that's defiantly where they have me at the moment, so I see the truth in that statement. I do the same thing venturing into Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana and the worst part about those trips are turning around rushing home to make it back to work on time, defiantly a slave to the American debt right now at the moment. Keep doing what you are doing and keep those two wheels moving brother, you give inspiration to a lot of us @@scootertrampscotty
Take me back...those were the best of times. I bet many live vicariously thru you and your adventures. You've had an amazing adventurous life and a good heart. God was with you!
Really enjoyed your story never got to be the gypsy that I wanted to be. Worked my @SS of all my life. Was married 3x have 3 kids 1from each so I spent most my life providing for them. After my last wife 22 years ago I was able to finely buy a house & 11acres that's all mine. But I'm now 67 and I had to move my mother in with me cause her husband died & she has never grown up & learned to take care of things on her own so here I am again taking care of things O well that's life!
I believe there’s a couple videos that he put out his phone number. I think one video got a picture of a V twin Harley engine. He’s trying to sell this phone number on it so if you really want to get up with Scotty i’m sure he’ll school you.
I really needed this video today. At 67, I am retiring in 16 days, and was feeling apprehensive yesterday. No more though. Can't wait to get on my '96 Heritage and finally living. Thank you so much!
Man your telling my story to the T. I rode bikes since I was 8 Im now 64 for 25 years I knew I want to be on the road, the road was were my mind was a ease. I ran out of money and always called dad and he saved my ass and would wire me money to get home or what I needed. Tried the married life 3 times, got the house with the white picket fence and it never worked. I never figured it out. Ive been binge watching your channels and its like looking at myself and figuring out where I may have screwed up. I am married to a good woman and she fought me and my motorcycle for a long time. I used to run with the wrong folks, never been in any real trouble but. I got on my bike the other day and left, didnt tell anyone where I was going for one thing I didnt know, I just rode like hell for 3 days. Im airing out my mind and Im to damn old to do what I love and thats riding. I just dont have the skills to make it much at a time. Just getting things off my chest. Glad I found this group of people.
Hello Scotty!! We met at a gas station somewhere in South Dakota!! I was the guy riding a bicycle!! Good to find your channel I'll subscribe and check it out!! 😎👍
@scootertrampscotty I don't really talk much about MS on my channel all though I should!! I think I need to be careful about what I say about it!! Cheers to coffee brother ☕
Scotty this is probably the most interesting video I’ve ever watched. When it was over I wanted it to continue. When I was young I loved the movie and then the tv show Then came Bronson. My dream was to travel the country and work little jobs when needed to keep going. It was the thought of sleeping in a tent cooking on a fire pit and constantly meeting new people. But unfortunately I started working in the 10 grade to pay for my motorcycle and insurance. And it just grew from there as you said working my ass off to get and keep a lot of stuff I realize now I never needed and never wanted. I was just trying to please everyone else. Sorry for dragging on so long brother keep doing what you do. I live through your stories and videos. You stay safe and take care.
Scotty has it figured out! More people around the World need to figure it out! Success in Life is Freedom, not acquiring things! You're the MAN Scotty! Stay Free and Safe! Let's Go Brandon! 👍🏻🇺🇸🏍
God made you this way Scotty so he keeps you in that way. He also keeps you off of roofs! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I know that they help many face their fears. Not too long before I head out on my overpacked sporster. I'm building a return ticket to a job that I might need if I come to find out that God wants me here in Appalachia. Your welcome to camp at my camp anytime you're in Western N.C. the water is good and the air is clean. Peace brother!
Utube aint notifying me of messages these days is why I didn't see this till now. If you'd like a visit can you send the state, town name, and phone number for my records? scottykerekes@yahoo
I was washing dishes in my house i owe way to much money for when you posted. Actually holding pots in my hand when you were talking about the pots fired in the garbage, lol. Made me wonder what the fuck Im doing with my life. Scotty, seriously man the best video ive ever watched on you tube. Your a legend man, and im honored every time i watch your videos to be able to listen to your wisdom.
I can relate. I’m from the area you’re from I used to live in Yucaipa Cal Mesa went to arrowhead all the time we went out to the desert then we moved to Escondido. We lived in trailers KOA camps all around the same time you did it brings back all kinds of memories?
Thanks Scotty for the story Been following you for a while now and love how you are so free compared to most people who are still in the matrix Sometimes I have that feeling to give it all up break free myself
You just went back to what was comfortable and how you were raised when you were a happy child living on the communes. . Children learn what they live and live what they learn.
Good background explaination - I now understand why you live the way to do. I agree that kind of lifestyle is not for everyone and if you enjoy it that's great. I do agree that there were times that I felt I was working for things but you know what, at some point you get ahead of it. Now I'm debt free and I own stuff. But the stuff I own I enjoy. Yes I will own the house and it has bills but they aren't bad. It just takes time to get ahead of it but you eventually do. And I have a family, kids, and grandkids which are the greatest joy of my life. I'm glad you enjoy your life - it would be too lonely for me. We do have the bike life in common. I agree that longer trips (2 weeks) are freeing and I love doing it too. I couldn't live on my bike like you but I ride every chance I get. Stay safe Scotty
Hello Scotty! It is very interesting for me to follow Your videos. I am a fanatic biker despite my old age of 68 years. Im a nature born hungarian, living in Ukraine (in used to be Soviet Union). Your family name Kerekes is of hungarian origin and it means in hungarian "wheeler". Nomen est omen. Thank You for Your very exiting and interesting videos! I wish You all the best!
Wow man what you said about your stuff needed maintenance and it no longer maintaining your spirit so you got rid of it is profound to me. Thankyou for sharing I needed to hear that 🫡
I just watched you interview on cycle drag and found your page here. First of all what a great story/life you’ve lived. I’ve been trying to explain to myself why I just left everything 2 years ago and moved into a trailer with nothing and I just want to thank you for being able to explain to myself why I’m living the way I am. That might sound weird but I’ve always had a hard time explaining why I do why I do it putting into words. So just wanted to thank you and say keep on living your life for you. You e definitely inspired me. I really appreciate it sir.

Thanks for this video man! You are an inspiration. Trust God is the best advice I have ever been given. What an an amazing story thanks for sharing your experience!
Hi Scott. Love your programs. Just wanted to say. If you decide to come up to Canada again. I would. Be more than grateful. To have you at my place. I live in kelowna British Columbia. Look it up. I am in a place called kelowna b.c. love your flicks. Ride safe. I really admire you as the man you are. Gordon.
Hey Scotty , met a few times at sturgis last year being one of them it was pouring out. Anyway always great hearing your story. I envy you , I wish I could do it. I mean I could technically becuae everytime I get home from a trip after resting up i go back out week weekend whatever. I am always on my bike. Now it’s winter in the northeast and trying to figure a way to get to Florida again and get my bike down there on my truck. I want to live a simple life I work the 9-5 but luckily my job offers me a lot of flexibility but I just as soon be riding around the country and not be worrying about time. Will probably run into each other again this. Always good seein ya. Cheers
I’ve heard you tell it before but I enjoyed the recap. WOW Scotty you had movie star looks! I envy your freedom. I’m 62 and my longest motorcycle trip was Massachusetts to the Canadian border in northern NH. I got the itch to take a longer trip maybe the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. I hate the rat race but I’ve made considerable changes and work part of the year doing mobile small engine repairs, and take July-September off and just go and enjoy riding. Being female and this crazy world we live in I wouldn’t feel safe going off alone for months but I make sure I enjoy my time off. Love watching your adventures for sure. It’s fun to see how other people live and in the end if we’re grabbing enjoyment from life it’s all we can ask for. None of us are here for a long time but hopefully we can find ways to make it a good time before we end up star dust. ✌️
Appreciate hearing the again Scotty. Have been following maybe as long as you been posting, we we both had darken hair. Given, 67th year, long timer living Hell's Kitchen, NYC, artist at heart here, horseman wannabe, children and grand. It's only been the last decade affording taken treks, 2-4weeks top, camping gear in tow, primarily back and forth, north and south. Have yet venturing far, east west, or affording $ Sturgis. I don't remember 1st seeing or ever meeting you, only in seeing your bike back when, like at a trade show. Best of 2024!
Thanks for your story. This is jason, Saddle tramps Road dogg. I've been watching you over the years But this was a little more in depth into scooter tramp scotty. I enjoyed it. Thanks. I believe I can use some of what you said. Thanks
Really makes you think about getting busy living and not staying busy dying, life is passing all of us by while we are so busy working ourselves to death for nothing......
Thank you for sharing your life story with us, I’ve heard it before, but I didn’t know much about your childhood, you are very interesting person for sure, I still remember the day my wife walked into the kitchen, and we were talking on the phone, and just from the one sided conversation, she was hearing she knew it was you, and she was amazed that you called me, great times for sure, as always I wish you nothing but the very best and one day we hook up and ride together, I’ve almost hit you up a couple of times, but it just didn’t work out for one reason or another, but I look forward to that day Godspeed Scotty
Amazing story. I’m living my dream of full time rving alone. Gonna be at Zion National Park this spring/summer and would love to meet you. Happy trails!!!
I think I was 10 the first time I read Johnathon Livingston Seagull...my Mom was a free spirit hippie back in the 60's. You remember what it was like back then. I got here in 62. Nam, Divorce, motorbikes, van, machining, Harleys, Beer, Weed, Wife, house, cars, trucks, motorhome, boats, and more. I think I hit every guardrail on the way down...
@@scootertrampscotty each of those had some impact on my life. Some good but most were chains that kept me a slave to the dollar. Others were taking my freedom from me and I didn't even realize it at the time. The drugs and alcohol took my health and I let it happen. My life has been a train wreck from the beginning and I rarely had purpose so I say I hit every guardrail on the way down. Despite having had troubles I still manage to get up, wash off, and face what may come one day at a time...
Love your philosophy. A man of my own heart. My spirit cries for freedom from the grind. I don't mind the work. It's the never having time for anything else. No real memories to stand above the life I had lived before marriage and children, aside from the excitement in teaching them and watching them grow. If ever I have the chance, I'm gonna test my faith too. You're a free spirit and an inspiration. I hope this comment finds you well brother. You've got the gears turning in this head of mine. God bless you!
Yes Scotty ... this is the Essense of Life ... Have a clean Heart, spend Love in Everything that's good and trust in the Heavenly Father ( thank Him every Day, for all good that you have ) ... Be modest / simpel in your Wishes ( only what you need in the Moment ) ... Do good for other from your Heart , than Everything you need realy comes to you ( back ) and sometimes much more ... See YOU ... Arne from Europe
Most excellent story! Thanks for sharing all that I found it very interesting, btw Forgotten Angels Campout in Valrico Florida is happening in March 14 thru the 17th come fellership if you can 😎✌️
Scotty been listening to you for a few years as I am 69 now and time is going fast. My thing as I live off grid high desert AZ and took on taking care of the neighbors horses and a eye on their place next to my place. I sold my land to them and there's a story behind that but they hope I will live in my place and it fits as it's a 57 mobile with a couple of add on. Last one we took a third of the roof off the trailer Part and built a add on that took in the part of the trailer we did away with as that part was in bad shape. In my way of thinking I took on this job till I can either find a person I can trust not to rip these neighbors off as I am working towards a toy hauler for a base camp in different states. But finding someone to live in my place in middle of nowhere that a handshake means something isn't easy anymore. They are here off and on as they have a place in NM as he's still working. So I here taking care of both places. This time of year you have to break ice every morning and feed. Sitting here looking at snow. Not much but the cold is taking to my body to much. I ride a trike these days and yes I like having somethings. So one day I will see you out there. Keep sunny side up. Old Dike in middle of nowhere.
Scotty you make me feel a little more normal man. One day I'll do the same and leave this all behind 50 60 hrs a week to pay for all the stuff I don't need. Has never made alot of sense to me. I hope one day I can get my daughter and her momma to see things a little differently so we can be free
I'm same age as you now, single, retired, ultra classic sitting in garage. Not anything I haven't thought of for doing for couple years now, so who knows. Thanks for telling your story.
Wow what an amazing inspirating story man ! Wondering if you have ever made it to Scooter Haven in Inglis Florida if not it’s an awesome biker campground destination ! We’d love to have you stay n play and show you some southern hospitality ❤
I'm hoping you come back east sometime so I can meet you. I have several places you can put your house for how ever long you want. Joe Raider has been within a mile from my house. I'll hopefully meet him this summer 2024. Thanks Bro!

GOD DAMN!!! Take me to those times. Here I am mid thirties, still can't afford my own house, don't own a car either. But I have my Harley!
There's your start. I skied to work in the snow many times. Didnt have a car for 5 years, wasnt smart enough to move south. 🤣

Sturgis is cheap. Camp with us for free. Just let me know and ill send coordinates.

Hats off to you, that's a great life story so far. Want to hear the next chapter or two, 10 to 15 yrs from now.
Really cool story!!! Thank you for sharing
Should be a full out movie. Badass life
Thanks for sharing your story..
You are an AMAZING and inspiring individual Scotty!
Really makes you think about getting busy living and not staying busy dying, life is passing all of us by while we are so busy working ourselves to death for nothing......
Long ago David Rockefeler said, "I'm going to enslave the American people using debt". Many have fallen victim.
Well, let me know if you ever find yourself out here.
Wow. That was an amazing story. This has to be made into a movie. We all dream of tapping out and living like this. I commend you.

Badass way of life Scotty! Just saw someone’s video where you plugged your channel glad to be here!
Thanks Scotty
I think I was 10 the first time I read Johnathon Livingston Seagull...my Mom was a free spirit hippie back in the 60's. You remember what it was like back then. I got here in 62. Nam, Divorce, motorbikes, van, machining, Harleys, Beer, Weed, Wife, house, cars, trucks, motorhome, boats, and more. I think I hit every guardrail on the way down...
Every guardrail on the way down. Thats an interesting statment. If u mean drinkin, ive been sober 37 years. Best thing that ever happened.
Right on, Scotty
A wonderful journey to inner peace and faith. A friend from Alvin TX. I am relocating to Talihina OK in January.
Damn you were gorgeous...still great looking.
Calm down lady
Have only just found this channel today … so came to this video to hear the story …. No words man
Just big love ❤️
Love your philosophy. A man of my own heart. My spirit cries for freedom from the grind. I don't mind the work. It's the never having time for anything else. No real memories to stand above the life I had lived before marriage and children, aside from the excitement in teaching them and watching them grow. If ever I have the chance, I'm gonna test my faith too. You're a free spirit and an inspiration. I hope this comment finds you well brother. You've got the gears turning in this head of mine. God bless you!
Man...this is one hell of a story should be a fucking movie man. Shout out from west monroe la.
Saw you on cycle drag. Love it man keep on keeping on
awesome stuff! Thanks
Thanks for sharing my friend!
Those hardships are what teach you responsibility and how to take care of yourself.

Thank you Scotty!
Have you heard of Dave Barr...take your bike around the world!!
Get a Motorcycle Camper hit the road
Brother you speak the truth…thank you for your content.
