I recently wrote my first midterm of my second year in med school and it was...quite a hectic study journey.... In this vlog, I take you through a week in my life leading up to my midterm- showing you the highs and lows of my cafe hopping, late night Anki sessions, cooking, and everything in between.

this is so realistic thanks so much for sharing this side of med school! do you type notes as well or strictly do ankis?
currently in college struggling to find time to do / balance both
Because of the sheer volume of content I need to learn, I mostly rely on Anki but I’ll take notes on really high yield concepts (glucose targets, lipid drugs, etc). I’m really lucky that we already have pre-made notes for our lectures so there’s no need for me to make my own detailed notes :)

Ummm.. seems like all that Notion and all that aesthetic and Productive ipad setup didn't really help in the end haha
Hahaha no amount of productivity tools will prevent me from cramming for my exams bc of how many things I have to juggle at once! But it def keeps me organized for all my studying, extracurriculars, RUclips, etc :-)
My granddaughter and I usually like all your vlogs but these recent vlogs have me conflicted. I am not sure if aiming to "just pass" on one's academic exams, especially for someone who is in medical school, is the right attitude to teach young impressionable students watching your videos nor would it be something your hardworking professors would appreciate. I kindly suggest you put in more effort to be a better role model for the younger generation, Ms. Yang.
Sorry for the confusion! In Canada, med school is pass or fail so all you really need to do is pass :)
