That's because it's using modern textures for the weapons shown but half life 2 still looks good

@@overpowered160 That is true, however you can tell that the engine suffers sometimes as the weapons look white washed, but overall you're right, it is impressive by a huge margin.

Its literally just taken from that game anyway, plus the video has no purpose anyway because all it is, is comparing the same animation just with different graphics and a different hand model, so the “whole point of the video” is pointless

@@skiffi7488 The model for the scar in ravenfield is way more accurate than gmod which one-to-one replicates the abomination of a scar model from mw19.
More people got to know what gmod and the source engine are capable of the source engine was way ahead of it's time

Whats largely impressive about the games contrast, Gmod gives you like 2 gigs of data to install for the gun packs, while the mods in ravenfield dont even take up a gig or 2, just shows how ravenfield can be amazing if they add realistic skins and shading. (I own both games so im allowed to say this)
