Thank you. Unequivocally put. I guess it is of human nature to always compare ourselves. A stable idealised world full of confidence as opposed to our own realities where we accept our limitations and aim to improve on them. And in my opinion doubt is necessary to propel ourselves to that place we imagine, that we aim for, which is the ambition. For when you finally realise your goal you look back with pride knowing that you overcame all the doubts. I am currently studying for GAMSAT with very limited science background and a 2:2 psychiatric nursing degree and I'm often faced with anxieties of the competition going for applications. I keep pushing. Best wishes in your studies mate and I hope to be in a place where I'm accepted for medical school in the near future.
This was really good. Would be nice to hear about how you dealt/deal with this anxiety and sense of inferiority across your degree.

My son just started at Newcastle med. Like jumping on a moving train.
It's a big change, but Newcastle's a fantastic school! Best of luck to him
