Any delayed concussion is worrying. It can be a sign of brain bleeding. Because if the bouncing brain wasn't enough to bring you down, the pressure of blood pouring into your skull cavity will.

I think #11 scenario is that person who got 'knocked out' had a cardiac arrythmia vs. a vasovagal like reaction due to pain AND anxiety secondary to pain. Interesting video. Thanks for posting.
It can happen if you just stand up too quickly period. Doesn’t require you having been asleep. I routinely lose vision while standing up too fast, so it’s a matter of degrees. I’ve never fainted, but I can feel in often in the urge if fainting, or at least losing a sense of equilibrium. So I usually grab a wall and ride it out.

Blame the refs then because as you saw with omalley vs Almeida sometimes you think an opponent is out but the ref actually let's it keep going. The fighters job is to fight until the ref stops it.
It's a bad ref thing. If you severely daze your opponent and stop, the ref might allow the fight to continue and because you didn't press the advantage your opponent might recover. This is one of the worst things that can happen in a fight. It's not good for you, who might lose now because all it takes is one well placed punch for the fight to turn, and its not good for your opponent because they may end up taking more damage than is strictly necessary. Really the best thing for both fighters is to continue to attack until the ref stops the fight, and hope that the ref is good enough to know when to call it.
@@Amehdion Yeah, there have been fights people thought they won and then lost. But some KO's are obvious. Hendo didn't need to punch Bisping on the ground that hard. I saw a very similar reaction after pulling a man from the waves at a beach once, he hit his head on the sand body surfing and got knocked out and was drowning.
