Demo of a cool application that can backup your data or clone your hard drive. Use for upgrading to a new larger hard drive or for recovery after a disk failure.
Has a standard free version which has lots of great features for free or upgrade to the Pro version for more features. Наука

Will cloning a partitioned data drive also clone the partition?
hi
is it possible to it opposite?
take an externaldrive
and clone it into the boot system
take external drive lets say D: and clone it over the boot drive C:?
Yes, it's possible to clone D:\ to C:\ but it may not be bootable, it depends what is on D:\ currently. If D:\ does not have boot files or an OS on it, then the system will not boot.
hi thanks
i will try tommorow
i go from an old pentim hdd drive i need to clone it onto a nvme of another laptop 10th gen
lets see if i can clone old drive D: into a runing windows boot sytem c:
i wonder if windows will let it get overrun by new image@@ClickNextDemos
is this free Pro version really free or is it just a trial with an expiration date?
If you download before 31st March you get the full Pro version for 1 Year. Once you are on the Pro version you have the option to upgrade to the lifetime version for a very reasonable price.
Can I migrate my windows install without losing data using this method?
Yes, 2 ways to do it. If using the standard free version you can do a system image backup to a temporary location, then restore that image backup to the new disk. It will be a 100% like for like copy of the original disk.
Option 2 is to upgrade to the Pro version and do a system clone. This is good if you want to migrate directly from disk to disk without using a temporary storage location.
Both options will keep all your apps and data.
Just put a Blank m.2 in Os C slot it dont list it tho
Are you booting from the Bootable Media? If so, may need to add the drivers for your storage controller if it's very modern or not a common controller. You could try running the app from within Windows which may have a better chance to detecting the drive as the drivers may automatically download and install from Windows Update. Good Luck.
