In the opinion of some of the best racing games I've ever played! After Gran turismo 3 ... I don't care about the new games released by codemasters! even Though it's a 2006 Game it's still a great Game!
This series got me hooked into racing. Spent hours online.
Still at after all these years, only on pc now.
I remember this game, when I was a kid. In Australia it's called V8 Supercars 3. I live in NZ to play this game. True Memories revealed. : )

It was like the current Project Cars, a lot of good memories playing it in my ex ps2, what a game, I miss my childhood
I remember at the time I thought these graphics were so good and they’ve really lasted well over the years too

The early 2000s, great racing games with great soundtracks and pit girls were still around, miss it all.

are you thick? crashing doesn't cause damage on all racing games, so it's a way of notifying you in this game it does

What version of windows were you using in the video because i was wanting to get this emulated on my pc but idk if any iso of the game still has the starforce drm that would screw up your windows install if you were over like win xp or something like that
Here he is using a PS2 emulator to run the game, so there is no risk. It's not the PC edition.

Great game! Quite underrated compared to Gran Turismo, Forza (and a lot better IMHO). The only downside is the driving, it feels quite weird driving without assists (maybe it's me, never played this game enough on the ps2 :/)
What are your pcsx2 version and settings? Because i tried playing this with d11 and skipdraw 1 and it runs 25-30 fps (starting in the back) and 40-50 fps (without other cars).

I'm using PCSX2 v1.5.0 and can i know ur PC spec..? This game is so heavy CPU/GPU so u'll need kinda high spec PC to run it smoothly.
xTimelessGaming Yep, i love the car sounds. Also the realistic damage, and the challenging a.i (sometimes they are a bit dirty, but i like it :P)
My specs: GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6gb)
CPU: I5 3470 (3.2 ghz, and 3.6 ghz with turbo boost)
Also, my OS is Windows 10 x64, and i have 16 gb Ram (Hyper X Black).

xTimelessGaming Tried using 1.3.0, then used the same as yours, and gained a few fps. It looks like i need to change CPU to run this game at full speed :/, thanks anyways! (great videos btw)

Hi. I wanna do letsplay by this game too. But my 1 episode I received a copyright complaint, although I turned down the music to 1. I don't understand why I was given a complaint. Do I need to turn it off altogether?

How did this game get 60fps when there's more than 6 cars on the track and it has cockpit view, while GT4 has none of that?
On the other hand, GT4 could do 1080i output and (to my eyes) had better lighting and car detail (depending on the car, some looked pretty ugly)

Amazing video and game... It was my childhood. I have trubles to use It on pcsx2. Of i use hardware (like you wrote in the description) the texts and images in the menu are corrupted... I Need to use the internal graphic but Is bad and unpossible to see... Can you help me?

_______ What angle(s) were used across the various points of view (especially driver's) using widescreen mode on PS2? I'd like to use that measure coupled with my screen with to set the correct viewing distance for accurate spatial awareness - interaction opportunities that are presented.
I have to know............HOW did you get this to run without horrible stutter and lag? PCSX2 refuses to play this game no matter what i try. Other games no issue.
