I went to the headbangers ball tour in Seattle, all the bands were great. It was prior to each band having big exposure, Iamb of god and KSE were at the top of their game and haven't been since.
i got to see them with both singers. not bad with either, but howards just got more lungs and is a little better showman. this show was the mtv tour. everyone was in a good mood. columbus is howard's home town. randy from lamb of god was drunk & the life of the party. it was a moment in time. i've seen em multiple times. it was just a good night. all bands have bad ones. the whole metal core genre is benhind us, i'm afraid.
You got to see KSE (Howard) AND LoG? That's my dream lineup. I predict that if something happens to Jesse, they will have Howard return. You can see in his eyes how much regret he has. I consider Jesse and Howard co-singers. Jesse wrote their early material, Howard brought them to stardom, and Jesse continued when Howard couldn't. They wouldn't have their amazing catalogue without both of them.
You're right. I discovered Killswitch in 2005, and it was Howard's voice and lyrics that originally drew me in. The same regret that Howard may be feeling now is that same regret that Jesse felt for 9 years. It sucks, but one great thing is that Howard and the band (including Jesse) are all still close friends. Plus, Howard's new band is awesome. The album they just released is great. That's without even mentioning the fact that Howard will be featured on a Killswitch Engage song on their next record!
Mesimarch oh sorry about that, wasn’t sure. Mind you though, after he left Killswitch Engage, on the TalkIsJericho Podcast, he told Chris Jericho he didn’t have a mobile device and which means no contact with anyone. But later of course now he has one. But he’s doing way better and he sounds so happy which is something great to hear. So yeah, he’s having his moments but he’s doing way better than he did back in 2012.
Justin is a beast on drums.. I actually went to this show, but in Detroit.. An 2 days ago seen killswitch engage an lamb of god 20 years later..
This is classic. I am a HUGE fan of both Howard and Jesse. They're both awesome in their own way. I am very excited for the return tho.
ahh man someday I will make a band
Did you end up making a band?
I'm so happy to have come across this.
You ever just combat roll during your set?
2:02 Howard sings that chorus beautifully.
“In this, search for, I and I
Truth is, always, deep inside.”

@@JokerCat9 Yep it was unearth, god forbid, kse, and Lamb of God. Saw both bands a lot back then.
2:00 moush paying the best part
that envy!
nice
jheez Howard used to have so much power in his screams. Damn aging is one cruel bitch
LOL @ 0:40 Crazy howard rolls :D
@HholyDiver42 I'm pretty sure it's Justin.
Is that Justin Foley or Tom Gnomes? I can't tell.
Justin Foley.
kinda sorta, if you scream right you can perform with all the emotion you want and still be fine. jesse was a completely different story.
They blamed Howard's health, but there had to be something else going on within the band...
twoo57 he has depression
The Music Chef had. He doesn’t have it anymore.
@@heelgill He does still battle depression. Watch the Rock Feed interview.

I agree, but it seems he hardly sings with the same emotion anymore
