omg the background music is the same one that Wild Your Garden with Joel Ashton uses for his intro. I fully thought it was playing from another tab 😂
Great resources and tips here! I really appreciate how you detail the website navigation.

@@loganberry30 Too funny! I actually hadn’t seen that channel before, looks like a great one - thank you for sharing it with me!

@@gardenforbirds You're so welcome! He's an excellent resource. Actually, I just stumbled across your channel when it popped up as a recommendation while watching one of his videos. I think the algorithm has me all figured out at this point 😂

Nice joke at the end😂 Very helpful little video. I’m enjoying your channel. It’s easy to find gardening videos but difficult to find practical help like this. Are you familiar with the channel Garden Project Academy? Also new and practical. The Host is Eve, she is a Horticulturalist and Garden Designer creating a How To DIY video collection. One can also enroll in online courses for personal help.
Might be a good channel to partner with a little.
Anyway, great job and good luck!

Thank you so much! 💓 Yes, I love Eve’s channel! She has such helpful advice for solving design problems I feel like everyone faces! Haven’t had a chance to watch her in a while but have been meaning to catch up! 😃 Thank you for the suggestion - I love hearing about channels other people are enjoying!

@@gardenforbirds 😀She wasn’t posting anything new for awhile, I think because she was working on the academy side. She’s kinda re-launched now.

Much of if not all are difficult to deal with, I've a postal code rather than a Zip code, have you any suggestions for me?

This site might be a good start - networkofnature.org/Where-to-Buy.htm
It can hopefully help you to find native nurseries in Canada, and should let you search near your area. Prairie Moon Nursery can ship seeds to Canada, and probably had some species that are native to your area, but unfortunately I don’t think they can ship live plants across the border. 😕

Thank you for the good information. Are you aware of Dr. Doug Tallamy? He connects the importance of native host plants to birds and pollinators.

Thank you for watching! Yes, love him - he’s probably the reason I started this channel! I love his combination of honesty, optimism, and good solid information. Lourdes on Native Plant Channel recently had an episode that featured him, that’s definitely worth checking out! 💓

A month after publishing this video, Audobon announced their decision to keep their name. This announcement was a difficult one for many people. A link to Audobon’s decision is here: www.audubon.org/news/national-audubon-society-announces-decision-retain-current-name
