The thing that caught my eye was the positioning of the 4WD selector up front next to were your hand may be fumbling for glasses or phone etc. You wouldn't want to knock the dial into or partly 4WD while in motion, yeah I know the chances are remote but still would be better position behind the gear selector imo .. Good review , Thanks Matt. I owned a Mega Tub Luxe for 18 months. Great car, had to get rid of it due to selling the family home and buying a unit. The underground basement parking was hell, so it had to go. I am now thinking about a 2023 Luxe T60,,, shorter version than the mega tub of course. I really liked the LDV Luxe , I did a lot of country driving, 400 ks plus round trip and it never missed a beat. My son owns a 2022 Mazda BT 50 . I have driven this quite a few times and really there is not much difference between both the Mazda and The T60 LUXE . The big difference is of course the price. I dont think there will ever be a better buy than the T60 Luxe. It looks great and I will be arranging to negotiate for the good looking orange version . Thanks and once again great review .

It’s a great looking Ute and in that blue with the sailplane on the back really looks the goods. Like anything i think half the problem is shaking off the Chinese car stigma. In saying that Hyundai and Kia had the same issues many years ago and now put out some of the best looking performance hatches and sedans which have taken a huge chunk of sales from Honda, Toyota and the like. I would certainly consider that Ute as my next car for sure. Great honest review.

I was SO close to signing on the line for one of these, but pulled out because it didnt sit right. Its not a terrible vehicle, its good as a fleet cheapo, but its just not worth the price they charge for it personally... Doesnt even have android auto. Dealer wouldn't go lower than $40k for a pro, handled well, but the interior was way too similar to my Girlfriend's Hyundai Venue and felt just as cheapwhich, the venue was half the price. People have also been having issues with LDV, so gut told me nope... Test drove the Cannons, and you get way more for the same money. Looking at the new Triton, Im more inclined to that now if the price is right. But GWM have been impressing me the most. Keen to wait and check out the 2024 model Cannon and Tank 400.

gees Matt I just don't know, I have heard horror stories of Ateco (distributor) basically being scumbags and voiding warranty for petty things and then owners having to do legal options like Fair Trading or further action like NCAT, we know of at least 1 person in Sth Est Queensland who took Ateco to the Queensland version of Admin Tribunal and won that case so yeah it's a risk to purchase on that alone.

Mega tube gets a 1850kg rated rear axle (up from 1720-1730kg for the Pro) but then has a payload reduced to 730kg (from 925-935kg). That's not much of a payload, including people. Mega tub has a GVM of 2,900kg and the Pro 3,050kg. So with the Mega Tub you get a longer vehicle and tray with higher rated axles to carry a smaller payload with a lower GVM and lower GCM Ok, got it.

Hey folks I work in a car yard and drive a tonne of different cars all the time.
I just want to warn you all, that the T60 is made to “look” nice but it’s trash.
The engines feel like they came out of my dads tractor and they just slapped a turbo on it.
And the quality of the interior is just weak all round.
I have yet to drive a Chinese vehicle which has made me say “this is actually good” they have all been cheap trash that is made to look nice but don’t last.
We have had sooo many of these Chinese utes come back at around 40-60000kms and blokes just trading them in to get a hilux, bt-50, navara or ranger.
Most of them say the same thing, it’s gutless and made on the cheap.
Save up a little longer and buy something that will last ladies and gentlemen.
