I recreated this as well after finding a random picture of the original online. You went about it in the opposite way than I did. It looks fantastic. You did an amazing job and I learned a lot of techniques from this video. Thank you for sharing with us.
I painted mine in a fiery scheme with red, orange, and yellow, and you're making me want to get another one to try another color scheme --maybe even this one.
I just did mine (it has removable eye stalks and has a indented eye socket). I chose a blue/purple color scheme. Holy crap! One of my better painting attempts..IMO. I used mummy white with pallid bone wash for the teeth (worked great btw). This video was sooooo helpful, thank you, and thank you to the Pro!.
Would love the see the blue/purple color scheme if you have an instagram link. Ill keep the mummy white pallid bone suggestion in mind to try on a future project. Thank you for the feedback and yeah, the pro who painted the original always does an awesome job on his models. He's a real inspiration.
I did. It would have saved a lot of time but it might have left a chalky appearance. I was also trying to see how closely I could match the original artist. If I ever paint this scheme again I will 100% be dry brushing most of it. 😁
Very well done! 👏 👏 👏 just subbed

Thank you! I’m glad the video was helpful. It’s a great paint scheme.
Ngl this looks mental it’s so realistic if I saw that when I woke up I’d probably wet my pants

Posted a couple videos if ya can find them. I don't do this so I have no idea where they'll be found.
While this isn't a roper (still waiting btw), it's super dank. Well done.
Excellent job... Did you consider dry brushing the body rather than painting each scale individually?
