I'm 49 and don't have a car and it's because I can't afford the insurance, gas, etc. A 30 day bus pass costs me $55 which is a lot cheaper than owning a car. I walk to the grocery store which is close to my house and occasionally take an Uber or Lyft when needed so I don't really need a car but would like to eventually have one for the convenience. I'm working towards getting a car in the future.

I grew up in the city and a $100 a month bus pass is a better option than paying a Car note, insurance, paying for gas, and the $200 monthly fee it costs to park on my university. I only got a car after I graduated and moved to the country side because it became a necessity. It truly does depend on your everyday routine and whether or not it’s important to have

I have been a delivery driver thank the Lord for over 24 years, but this is the reason why I don't date anyone on the job or anybody that I deliver too. Too messy and too out of control.
