Since coming across this channel during quarantine, my apartment has considerably looked better. I usually hated household chores before but I do enjoy now after realizing that a clean house gives me a sense of serenity. I also have plants now. I started with herbs - thai basil, mint . Not sure if il be into flowering plants though. Im worried about by pollen allergy. Anyway thank you so much for your videos.

I was happy to see that you have a Mandevilla vine. I am very fond of them. They like lots of organic matter in their soil, and a bit of well-washed builders' sand.
They also like indirect sunlight - a little screening and they will be happy; they also like to be pinched out to create more flowers - just with your fingers is fine.
When the fall temperatures decrease to about 10, they like to be brought indoors for the winter; at that time, you can cut them back by one-third to two-thirds. When spring temperatures reach 10, you can put her outdoors again.

When I was
a child in the town where I was born there was not plastic. My mom had a little convenient store people brought in their containers for liquids or wet merchandise, glass and tin, burlap sacks, canvas and wood crates were the packing containers for bulk. We had no 24 hour electricity either, only from 6 to 9, ice would come once a week and was kept in wooden boxes wrapped on burlap and coffee beans husks. To travel you have to make reservation in advance with the local driver. There were not closets, those that could afford it had armoire. We didn't have running water we did laundry and gathered water at the river...

매일 주어지는 시간을 그냥 흘러보내느냐, 그 시간을 나와 가족을 위한 소중한 시간으로 만드느냐는 주부의 마음 가짐이 참 중요한 것 같아요..
부지런히 움직이시며, 집안 곳곳 살림살이를 살피시는 모습에서 저의 한주간의 삶을 돌아보게 됩니다..
욕실의 발 매트와 발 수건을 새로 갈아주고, 고무패킹을 세척하고, 헌 수건을 자르는 것들이 평범해보여도 사실 세밀하게 신경쓰지 않으면 그냥 방치될 수 있는 부분들인데..
까르슈님의 세심한 모습에서 저를 반성하고, 또 한발 나아가게 하네요^^
스트로폼으로 질식할 것만 같은 식물에게 새로운 터전을 마련해주시는 따뜻한 모습을 보며,
저희집에 온지 벌써 1년이 지나가는데, 분갈이 한번 안해줘도 열심히 새싹을 내 준 고무나무에게 새삼 미안하고 고맙게 느껴지네요..ㅠ
