I would get artic rod for mid game since it is only 25k and the stats are 45% lure speed, 65% luck, 0.18 control, 15% resilience, and the max kg is 80k so it is VERY good for catching megs. (Edit) And you get it at the first merchant at northern expedition.

During Fischmas, Presents had a small chance of giving you relics. I actually spent a few days just using Steady Magnet Rod grinding presents and bait crates and ended with a grand total of 66 relics. Was a really good way to get them, and I used rapid catchers to get the most.

You don’t need an eclipse totem to get an eclipse it’s not the only way, they spawn in naturally every 7 in game days Guaranteed so you don’t need 250k and is a mid game option🤷♂️ On another note you can also use Sundial totems aswell but isn’t guaranteed and doesn’t affect the in game naturally spawned one you would still have to wait 7 in game days for the naturally spawned one
I've been using scurvy rod than phoenix rod. the passive is making the fishes bigger and has 2000 kg, not 1k since it was written on the video. I'd recommend it more than phoenix, cause of the resilience and the luck. phoenix just sucks, scorched mutation is just making it lower value. I got more than 40k with scurvy per hour and phoenix less than 20k per hour cause of bigger fish spawning, even resilience won't help unless you're skilled.
Yeah thats my mistake It is 2000kg I must have looked over it i said 2000 but wrote 1000😅 ,but I didnt see the scurvy rod in any wiki or in game with a passive ability, and how does the scorched mutation lowers value? if it gives 1.3x value ,it has higher kg than the scurvy rod so you can catch higher weight fish, and with the hasty enchant you can instant catch fish making it more efficient catching more fish compared to scurvy and the fact that its 10,000 credits cheaper seems alot better to use the phoenix rod for farming money. I could see the scurvy rod being used if the player cant handle strong fish and the scurvy rod having more resilience but money making wise theres no money making passive, the difference between the luck is slight, and with the lure speed its less efficient than the phoenix rod, you can pair the scurvy rod with hasty and rapid catchers for instant catches but will be losing that resilience and for 50,000 the stats arent really supporting it

I’m a noob and i got really lucky by going into a server with x32 luck so I grinded as much as I could with my current rod (North Star rod) then after the server luck ended I could buy the arctic rod and it basically changed my whole entire gameplay, it’s probably one of the best rods in the game for noobs, only for 25k which u can grind for and it’s not that hard

the forgotten fang rod ability was wrong you need to hit 3 prefect catches and it gives you the same fisch and I recommend to use this strategy for megs

Rotd is better for grinding exp, but heaven rod for anything else. This is because you need to get hasty on heavens rod, otherwise it’s a pretty mid rod. However, you can use clever (2.25x exp) on rotd. You can do this because it already has lure speed and decent stats otherwise. The heavens rod is better for anything else. You can megalodon hunt, as it has infinite max kg. You can make money quickly, using hasty to justify the measly 25% lure speed.
