I noticed the same thing too , I feel like the claps are a tad bit longer as well to make it sound fuller
it's the use of a mild bitcrush beneath to give a bit of extra crunch to the sound quality and make it heavier as volume increases

Been trying to find out myself too! My guess since the original tune is probably a bit older it might be a friend who doesn’t produce anymore or something along those lines.
