Francesco Camarda - what a striker he is..Italy should promote him to the senior team just like Spain did for Lamine Yamal
Italy like Nigeria does not encourage young players to senior national team and before you know it the players drop in confidence and never makes it to the top with same talent. Nigeria u17 has most world title but never won a senior World Cup.
yeah u are perfectly right, but here in Italy we are so dumb and stupid to not promote him
not only Camarda but some other players of this tean deserve a call from the senior national team. There's a reason why team like Spain Germany and England go further in the Euros, because they are not afraid to give their youngsters those opportunity

The hype is fully justified with Camarda : excellent finisher off both feet, strong runner with superb movement/positioning , good feet, can see a pass, smart and aware. Spalletti and Fonseca should already be considering him for the Italy and Milan first teams. Pafundi and Liberali also look like the real deal along with many others.

I think Milan have a clear plan for him. That's why they choose aging Morata rather than striker in peak age.

@@luislizard2626 I know, it was late last year and he was only 15 at the time - Serie A's youngest ever debutant. It was a brief cameo due to an injury crisis. Here's the thing though, Carmarda - already a remarkable talent - has grown considerably since his senior debut. He is a Under 17 European champion, is currently doing the business again with the Under 19's and has shown terrific quality. He has also grown taller and has become physically stronger.
I'm not saying he should be Milan's starting striker, but I do believe he's ready to get regular playing time, and let's be honest, if he was Spanish, German, English, Dutch, Brazilian ..... he would be given higher priority and wouldn't be farmed out to the reserve team, loaned out, or sold, as we've seen with Calafiori, Pafundi etc.

As an Italian I'm very happy to see that our young national selections are doing soooo good.
On the other hand, I'm so disappointed that all this talent displacement does not reflex in our major national team.
There's something utterly wrong in how Italian federation manages our young players.
Thanks to these youngsters there's hope for the future of Italian football, but something needs to be fixed immediately.

It starts with the idiocy and shame that is Serie A. This league has ruined and continue to ruin the careers of many young talented national players. This league sits their nationals on the bench while foreign players are on the field, whilst nurturing their skills.
The system is ruining the skills of their very own. Napoli, Roma, Juventus, Bologna, Milan... they are the cancer of Italian football. Most outside of Italy knows this, but the people at the top of the Italian football federation, Serie A and most Italians are either blind or don't care.
Missed two world cups, were embarrassingly horrible in the 2024 euros, have been mediocre at best for the last few years.... how the hell doesn't anyone see that this is a major problem?

You are correct. Spalletti made massive massive errors in calling up his old favourites. You could argue that di Lorenzo was one of the absolute worst players in the euros. Youth is the way football needs to move. Italy risk missing yet another World Cup by not integrating it at both club and international level.
It is insane and criminal for italy to have such promising youth selections and then fumble the senior euro cup like they did last month.
They don't have any young talents, they said. They need to rebuild their youth system, they said.
Meanwhile, their youth national teams won trophies with many great youngsters. They just don't care about these players and keep using something like Scamacca.

I saw Camarda play and won the U17 Euros. The U21 Euros is in 2025 Bratislava. If he plays well in the U17, he should give a shot at the U21 Euros next year. It will be amazing if Italy managed to defend the U19 Euros.

Higher taxes from newly arrived foreign players will definitely be a major consideration. Second, on average, other Italian teams, if there are players who are interested in other big teams, they seem to be blocking the transfer process. In fact, if I pay attention, if there is a young talent from Italy who is interested and wants to be signed by Milan, usually the price is made very bombastic so that it will complicate the transfer process. And finally Milan withdrew & looked for another solution in their position by bringing in players from outside Italy. And after that, the targeted players are actually sold to other clubs at relatively affordable prices. That's the reality. THE BOTTOM LINE IS STILL FORZA MILAN.

I'm excited and at the same time not for the future of the Azzurri. Incredible talents we have but somehow get lost in the system due to Serie A clubs wasting these talents. Many of these players need to be in the fist team of Serie A clubs but these clubs will never give them the opportunity.
Edit: While this might sound pessimistic, my aim is to bring more awareness to this issue in Serie A. By raising our voices, I hope these clubs will shift their approach to focus on developing homegrown talent.

@@manunam9526 Spot on! Camarda is 16 yrs, set to play in Serie C with Milan Futuro which is not a bad idea. However, some where Yamal is at 16 was playing first division. Camarda was Player of the tournament in the U-17 and now 2 games 2 goals U-19. Hopefully next season he can play first team for Milan.
You're not being pessimistic, you're stating the truth. Italy has frequently wasted its young talents, either casting them aside for second rate foreign imports or coaching their natural instincts out them and turning them into robots. It's only got worse over the past 5-10 years with Italians making up only 30+% of all Serie A players, with many teams not having a single Italian in their starting 11. This has spread to the youth teams and Serie B.
It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Blackrock ("you have to force behaviour"), with their ESG shake downs and desire to destroy cultures are behind this.
You’re right there is no pathway to bring our young talents from youth teams to serie A teams. A long ongoing problem we have to fix if we want to be a competitive footballing nation again.

Camarda prossimo anno salta la categoria under 21 e 2 anni 1 squadra stesso nel Milan proprio forte in tutto, e' un predestinato comunque ce ne sono buoni un bel lavoro di Corradi e dello staff.
Che bello vedere questi giovani calciatori con questa nazionale giovanile sono tutti molto forti ,spero di vederli nella nazionale maggiore dove siamo stati la vergogna della nazionale italiana....

Io non posso credere che questi giovani vadano a marcire in B e in C per il resto della carriera. Ma neanche che facciano un’anonima carriera in A come molti talenti italiani del passato stanno facendo.
I talenti ci sono, tra cinque anni potenzialmente possiamo tornare ad essere veramente competitivi come un tempo.
In un anno abbiamo fatto la finale del mondiale u20, vinto l’europeo u19, vinto l’europeo u17 e adesso stiamo facendo di nuovo bene con l’u19, sperano nel bis o almeno in una finale.
Ergo, i nostri giovani sono mediamente più forti di quelli di altre selezioni molto più “quotate” da tutti come Francia, Spagna, Inghilterra, Germania e Portogallo.
Se si smettesse di comprare giocatori mediocri (per non dire scarsi) e si puntasse sugli italiani (giovani e non) in Serie A ma anche in B, non saremmo in questo stato.
Squadre come l’Udinese, il Lecce, il Parma e ultimamente anche il Verona e il Venezia, sono il male del calcio italiano, perché sono squadre medio-piccole con rose composte al 95% da stranieri che invece potrebbero dare minutaggio ai giovani italiani delle primavere e ai migliori prospetti della B. Invece preferiscono imbottire la squadra di scommesse straniere non si sa bene per quale motivo.
Stesso discorso per le altre squadre, Milan in primis, dato che ha un grandissimo vivaio ma che di italiani in prima squadra ne ha 2-3 su 30 giocatori se va bene. Vediamo se il Milan futuro aiuterà in questo senso.
Ecco, le seconde squadre secondo me potrebbero essere di grande aiuto per questi giovani, ma serve un cambiamento radicale a tutti i livelli (A,B e anche C) nella mentalità.
Il caso più esemplificativo di tutti è quello di Pafundi, giocatore che oggi dovrebbe essere al centro del progetto dell’Udinese (non del Real Madrid) e che invece è stato costretto ad andare in Svizzera (dove tra l’altro è stato eletto miglior giocatore del campionato nonostante sia arrivato a gennaio) per giocare da professionista e per non marcire in panchina o in primavera.
Gente come lui, Camarda, Libeali, Zeroli, Bartesaghi, Mosconi, Della Rovere (che è andato al Bayern perché alla Cremonese(!!!) non c’era un progetto solido per lui), Magni, Pagano, Pisilli, Ciammaglichella, Dellavalle, Hasa, Vignato e tanti altri dovrebbe fin da subito trovare spazio in serie A e non marcire in panchina o dover scendere di categoria

Non devi guardare la popolazione totale, che è mediamente vecchia (verso i 50 anni). I maschi sotto i 18 anni in Italia sono 5 milioni, quanti di questi praticano calcio? Ci stiamo indebolendo anche perchè la natalità è da estinzione.

@@roccociccone597 Sicuramente non è l'unico motivo, altrimenti la Croazia non esisterebbe nel calcio. Ma quando vedi il Brasile che ha 50 milioni di maschi sotto i 18 anni, 10 volte più di noi, su una popolazione che è poco più di 3 volte la nostra, due domande te le fai. L'Argentina, 42 milioni di abitanti e quasi 6 milioni di maschi sotto i 18 anni. Francia e Germania quasi 8 milioni di maschi sotto i 18 anni. Inghilterra 6 milioni. L'unica vera eccezione è la Spagna, quasi 5 milioni su 47 milioni di persone. Vedremo in futuro, ma non sarò sorpreso se nazioni come il Brasile diventeranno ingiocabili.
Camarda should have signed with a foreign big team. It's possible that in Italy in a few years we forget about Camarda, he may get bogged down in the swamps of serie C or B.

Non montiamoci troppo la testa, l'Italia fa bene nei tornei internazionali giovanili anche perché le altre grandi nazionali si presentano con le seconde linee, giacché i giovani forti giocano già nella nazionale maggiore o comunque sono già titolari nei club.
Ben vengano questi successi che tirano su il morale, ma non devono servire alla Federazione per nascondere la polvere sotto il tappeto, c'è tanto lavoro da fare.
Ma venite pagati per fare i cagacazzi? Come funziona?
Ma su non dire cazzate. Quanti ragazzi di 17 o 18 anni vedi nelle top squadre. E vero che alcuni già giocano a quelli livelli, ma la maggior parte no.

@@danyb9740 Ma non mi dire. Probabilmente siete gente che delle partite guardate solo gli highlights su RUclips. Il fatto che in campo vediate "pochi e rarissimi" giovani (sicuramente molti di più che nei club Italiani) non significa che non ve ne siano parecchi in rosa. E che in questi tornei le grandi nazionali lascino a casa i giovani più forti è cosa abbastanza risaputa, non lo dico io; vi sarebbe bastato leggere qualche articolo di Stefano Agresti o Luigi Garlando, solo per citare gli ultimi che ne hanno parlato. Ma non è mi intenzione sminuire i successi dei nostri giovani, dico solo che il nostro establishment federale ha la tendenza a nascondersi dietro tali successi per perpetuare lo status quo e non proporre alcun rinnovamento, che invece sarebbe necessario e urgente.

Capisco che quanto ho scritto possa averti turbato, ma tant'è: che le altre grandi nazionali si presentino a questi tornei con le seconde linee non è cosa che mi sono inventato io, ahimé. E se in campo vedi pochi giovanissimi (sempre molti di più che nei club italiani) non significa che non ve ne siano parecchi in rosa. Ripeto: non voglio sminuire i successi dei nostri giovani; dico solo che il nostro establishment federale ha la brutta abitudine di nascondersi dietro tali successi per perpetuare lo 'status quo' e non proporre alcun rinnovamento, che invece è necessario e urgente. As an italian, i'm a little embarassed from this guys. They play an eccellent football, pressing and counter-attacks.
Bernanrdo Corradi, one the youngest head coaches in Italy, have created a group that revolve around good players and a common plays style: that's what Spalletti could have done at Euro 2024.
And also...Zeroli, Camarda and Bartesaghi plays for AC Milan which thsi year will have Milan Futuro, a second team that will play in Serie C (3rd Tier Championship) with most of the Youth Team player in it.
The future of italian football is in good hand.

IL problema NON è la Nazionale maggiore,
il problema sono i CLUB!
In Italia NESSUN club di lega A e B ha delle REGOLE per l'inserimento dei giovani,
anzi la MAGGIOR PARTE dei club di A e di B NON MANIFESTA NESSUN INTERESSE all'inserimento dei giovani Italiani o comunque CONVOCABILI dalla Nazionale maggiore.
Il Milan che sembra avere il MIGLIOR PARCO GIOVANI D'ITALIA, QUEST'ANNO GIOCHERÀ CON UNA PRIMA SQUADRA SENZA NESSUN ITALIANO!
Secondo dati ufficiosi della federazione, il selezionatore Spalletti per il campionato Europeo poteva contare in un MASSIMO di 100 giocatori convocabili, molti dei quali non titolari.
Per l'anno prossimo questo numero è DESTINATO A DIMINUIRE PROBABILMENTE A 80!
La situazione è EVIDENTEMENTE DRAMMATICA, MA PURTROPPO NESSUNO INTERVIENE!!!
È il CONI attraverso la Federazione che DOVREBBE intervenire IMPONENDO REGOLE PRECISE CHE VALGANO PER TUTTI.
È evidente che in questo modo i giovani Italiani NON avranno NESSUN FUTURO, portando dritti alla DISAFFEZIONE!
La nazionale maggiore NON POTENDO contare su giocatori convocabili, avrà RISULTATO SEMPRE PIÙ SCARSI!
I Club continueranno la loro politica sempre più SCOLLEGATI DAL MOVIMENTO CALCISTICO ITALIANO che andrà sempre più perdendo la sua importanza.
