Just finished part 1 and have discovered a true gem - Tan Jianci. His portrayal of Xiang Liu is mesmerizing. He’s just got such a MAGNETIC aura about him…. You can’t look away. As a newb to K & C dramas I’ve watched more historical/fantasy Wuxia shows than K dramas and IF they kill Xiang Liu as rumored in the end (and as it is in book?), then I just can’t watch anymore of these shows. Til The End Of The Moon and Luo Yunxi already broke my heart into a thousand pieces. I’m running out of glue here people! For this outstanding, intense, complicated, beautiful character and Tan’s interpretation of him to be killed (don’t care if its in the book, CHANGE IT!), then there is no reason to go LOOKING for more heartache in my life with these soul crushing endings. I just can’t….

I’d like to watch him in his new show Love Has Fireworks but its only on Tencent. ☹️.
I think when Xiang Liu gave his one life to Xiao Yao to save her and give her everything he could and whenever they are together ( she is really happy ). He can make her happy, he can make her angry, everything is for the relationship between them. What's more every time she looks at him her eyes sparkle and the fact that he was rude to her in the beginning (what he experienced in his life was bad) but his behavior started to change because of her. He doesn't want promises from her: that she won't fall in love with another man and they give space.
So happy that Xianglui snatched Xiayao on her wedding. Thats a very good move for XiangLui, yes!!! You have to fight for your love and feelings for Xiayao.❤❤❤

Im glad someone thinks like me. I can stand people shipping Cang Xuan but toxic manipulative Xiang Liu I've genuinely disliked from the very beginning. People are just shipping him because of a pretty face, but that's where the audience fails. It means if the hero is played by someone with less than ideal looks, then he would be hated no matter how right he is. I feel like this is how people end up in toxic relationships in real life when all the red flags were there from the beginning,and then cry wolf when they're used, abused,manipulated or God forbid, experience even worse.
