Marielle and Megan discuss chapters 7-12 of August's BotM, Where Dreams Begin by Lisa Kleypas.

Zachary wants Holly SO BAD, but he knows that if he seduces her, she'll leave right after. And he's come to find he really enjoys her company, and her mere presence, more than he wants to bed her. DRAT!😂

We get a sickbed scene when Holly gets a migraine, and Zachary tends to her!

Zachary gets into a fight at his club after a young peer makes rude comments about Holly. He wins, of course!

Zachary's mom sees the connection between them, but she warns him off, saying that Holly is not for him. He knows she's right, but he can't help himself.

Zachary buys Holly some gowns which is totally inappropriate and makes her upset because they're beautiful and she can never wear them. And when she comes down to go to the ball in a gray gown instead, he gets MAD. "You're going to wear that?!" Yikes.
They fight, but she puts on a gorgeous RED gown instead and they head to the ball.

The ball goes well for Elizabeth, which is great! She has many suitors who want to dance with her, including her brother's new architect...

It goes less well for Zachary, once he finds out that Holly might end up marrying her husband's BFF, which is what they both promised him before he died...
