Those are halogen lights that were painted blue. H.I.Ds require a ballast to be installed to regulate the voltage and keep the diode lit. These are halogens that someone painted blue and wrote hid on the package. Just a heads up.

I would consider those Halogen still. HID would have a bar running down them. But still better than the stock yellows.

Um, those are not HID light. You fell for the marketing scam that so many cheap parts from the Asia continent manufacturers. Regardless, if you like them than that's cool. Just be sure they are on par or better than the OEM bulbs in terms of light output (not color). I like the wrap/ color of your Ryker. Cheers.
