I know im a bit late to this but thx to this dude i got my S+. I had no problem getting all achievements in the main game, but i was struggling to get those in the DLC and even tho i didnt use the infinite chicago sweeper cus i was too lazy to beat the dlc 2 times, i still managed to get the S+ with exactly 5 minutes to spear, thanks for the great vid...
Great video as always Extriaa! Just a quick tip: there's a grenade you missed in chapter 1 in the area where you pick up the gun powder right after you open the treasure chest. You mentioned that you try to save your grenades for the giant fight so this will add one more to your inventory.
Even though I already completed all Separate Ways challenges, I still watch this videos until the end. Looking forward to another challenges such as pistol only, no heal and no merchant, and do it in a single playthrough just like you did on main story of RE4R. A💙

I just wanted to say as of today, I finally got S+ in Professional thanks to your guide. I was struggling before with the Pesantas fight in the village, but I finally got the hang of it. The knights section was another one that really frustrated me, but eventually I got that one beat as well due to your tips. Of course, once I got the Chicago Sweeper upgraded, it was a breeze from then on out. Even the Double Garador was easy and I passed it on my first attempt. Thanks again for the great content! Keep up the excellent work!
Cheers for the guide, it was an immense help. Considering the only challenge and achievement I had left in this game was for this, it seemed like it shouldn't be so difficult with a guide but apparently me unlocking RPD Leon wasn't a sign of my actual ability to not screw up during the early sections of this because holy hell I was getting ruined in the village. Got so tilted after a couple days of attempts that on my successful run I skipped the save before the knights and realized only after I'd gotten the bottle. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I played it well, but absolutely botched the courtyard several times immediately afterwards and would've likely quit entirely if I had been forced to redo the knights multiple times.
This video def motivates me to get the s+ tbh, i got s+ pro in the main game but stuggled a lot and finished with 3 min to spare lol. Thanks for this video and talking us through the strategies. Its much appreciated. The cabin and the double Garador room gave me the most trouble, along with the Mutt request for the spinals
I enjoy walkthroughs like this. However, you can actually get the Sweeper at the end of Chapter 1 before you start Chapter 2. At the chapter end screen, there's an option to access the typewriter, which allows you to access your storage before starting Chapter 2. Other than that, it's a great guide!

A tip for the knights section starting at 42:25. If you keep getting hit by those annoying archers, take the silver bottle out of the pedestal to close the gate. It'll be harder for them to hit you that way (though you wont get loot from them if you kill them while the gate is still up). Thanks for this. first time through I was 2.33, missed it by 3, went back to save on chapter 6 , bought the striker and flash and ran through with a time of 2.27. just made it. CS is amazing, though you fire 100 bullets and maybe hit 10, No damage run would be great

I'd like to imagine I'm (or was) about an average+ gamer when it came to Resident Evil, but kept running out of bullets when I ran into the first boss... Definitely a guide I will be checking out later to gain 100% in RE4.
I've already got my S+ but I enjoy watching vids like this for future random playthroughs. As a note at 27:00 you can run directly to the wheel and drop a flash. This gives you plenty of time to crank, saves a lot of ammo and is 100% consistent from my tests. I've never once had stragglers or the chainsaw pair get to me in time and it's fairly lenient. I'd recommend that over using the precious rifle ammo since average people probably wont have that much to spare. Loving the vid so far and I might edit if anything else catches my eye! Edit: 29:19 In the original the gold egg was in the oven where you got the brown egg. Not sure why they moved it there and I'd be curious to know as well.

Last year, I followed your Guide to help get S+ Rank in Professional Mode in RE4 Remake and I was super happy to come across this guide from you; I used it in Hardcode Mode and managed to get S+ in about 2:01:00. Somehow, on Chapter 6 (in your video, at 1:20:31) it did not matter where I was shooting with my rife, the barrel simply never exploded and I ended up "going the long route" and kill all enemies before destroying the last laser turret (1:21:07)...still, amazing video as usual! ^_^
Great work Extria, you got me excited to get back to the game again. By the way at this point 53:53 you could actually throw a grenade to blow the lock on the door and get to the crank quickly. Keep going my friend.

Love you energy and your guide. The only real thing I have to point out for those of us in console, the rifle is a few tiers down due to the lack of point and click aiming.
Got my S+ in 1:55 today, skipping the save before U-3. Very helpful guide, especially the money management (which treasures & upgrades to get). Main difficulties for me were El Gigante (hard to hit when flailing while flashed, so I used more small nades instead of the flashbang) and the Gold Bottle room (Armaduras kept dropping large resources & green herbs, many restarts necessary). Main time loss compared to your video was me missing the headshot on Gloria (and not willing to restart because of the spinel issue). Also rest in piece Luis ;)

Finally got around to watching this video completely and it once again was a pleasure to watch. I often watch your videos when I play something on my tablet, because it works out perfectly the way you narrate everything, so I always know where you are, what you do and what you plan to do. I've finished the DLC myself a week or so ago, but my dumb ass overwrote my completed RE4R PS4 + Seperate Ways save with an older version, so now I have to get the ingame rewards again, but who needs an excuse to play this game again, right? Overall I really enjoyed the DLC, the price was great and it adds a lot of great stuff to the game, but also gets rid of things that weren't really fitting before. I mean I enjoyed Seperate Ways for the old version, but I'm not sad that I don't have to go through the Warship level and stuff like that. Now it feels more like Ada holds all the puzzle pieces that Leon was missing, but didn't know about instead of having her own little thing going on. She still has, but it blends in better. Overall I'd say the DLC (especially Professional S+) felt more manageable than the base game to me and lot less stressful. With Leon it felt like I really needed evevy save that I could have, but with Ada I only really used 7 saves, two were mess ups on my part, because I was used to just save whenever and the last one was pretty much just because I had one left. The Penanta fight in the beginning was quite tough for me, but the rest was okay, especially El Gigante for some reason. Overall I feel like the toughest part of the whole DLC was the double Garador fight, because small fry + 2 brutes is always a deadly combo, but if you're careful and stack up on Flashbangs before you start it's very doable. Edit: Also, since I watched a few of your videos I've become a loyal follower of the Bolt Action Rifle. I've always used the semi auto, but not anymore.

i just used this video to get ada's cat ears! did it in 1 hour 57 minutes the only thing i changed for the run is that i used the chicken hat instead of the sunglasses, because i suck at this game and take a lot more hits than you do lol, the hat really does make a difference thank you again!

Easy strat in the hallway before the knight room. Just stun the first knight til he goes to his knees, quickly place the silver bottle run around and take it back. The door will close before they can recover and attack you. Good work around if you don’t need their loot.
42:26 If you take back the silver bottle right before picking the gold bottle the archers will have a harder time shooting at you through 2 gates the bolts get stuck between the gaps of the gates

Hey, I have another tip for anyone that is playing on PC (it can be done on console but it’s very difficult to get use to) can use: while aiming the sniper, you can pause to see where you’re aiming at in pause very quickly adjust and pause again to make sure you land perfect shots. It will make boss fights actually easy because every shot you land is on a weak spot.
I suppose it's already known at this point, but I usually just toss a flashbang right before holding the wheel with the 2 chainsaw enemies. Makes doing the speed skip more legit.

I got it on the first attempt, my time was 1:44, just so you guys know when you're in the animation enemies cant hit you, its the same thing on the main game so u can freely go for the valve in salvador and chainsaw lady fight
Easy way to kill the Red Summoner in the courtyard run straight into the yard where the crows are and use the grappling hook to the left of the stairs, he’ll be just to your left when you land. If he gets away just follow him to the top walkway above the entrance
At 1:30:24, after pulling the shield off this guy, don't try to knife prompt him immediately. Instead, wait for him to roll his body from left to right which is pretty quick actually. Once you see he's done rolling, now you can knife prompt him. I've been able to knife prompt him very consistently this way.
I finally started playing this last night, in Chapter 3 with the Chainsaw Duo, i just got to the wheel, tossed a flashbang then turned it. Skipped everyone haha

Last year, I followed your Guide to help get S+ Rank in Professional Mode in RE4 Remake and I was super happy to come across this guide from you; I used it in Hardcode Mode and managed to get S+ in about 2:01:00. Somehow, on Chapter 6 (in your video, at 1:20:31) it did not matter where I was shooting with my rife, the barrel simply never exploded and I ended up "going the long route" and kill all enemies before destroying the last laser turret (1:21:07)...still, amazing video as usual! ^_^

Love you energy and your guide. The only real thing I have to point out for those of us in console, the rifle is a few tiers down due to the lack of point and click aiming.
Got my S+ in 1:55 today, skipping the save before U-3. Very helpful guide, especially the money management (which treasures & upgrades to get). Main difficulties for me were El Gigante (hard to hit when flailing while flashed, so I used more small nades instead of the flashbang) and the Gold Bottle room (Armaduras kept dropping large resources & green herbs, many restarts necessary). Main time loss compared to your video was me missing the headshot on Gloria (and not willing to restart because of the spinel issue).

Finally got around to watching this video completely and it once again was a pleasure to watch. I often watch your videos when I play something on my tablet, because it works out perfectly the way you narrate everything, so I always know where you are, what you do and what you plan to do.
I've finished the DLC myself a week or so ago, but my dumb ass overwrote my completed RE4R PS4 + Seperate Ways save with an older version, so now I have to get the ingame rewards again, but who needs an excuse to play this game again, right?
Overall I really enjoyed the DLC, the price was great and it adds a lot of great stuff to the game, but also gets rid of things that weren't really fitting before. I mean I enjoyed Seperate Ways for the old version, but I'm not sad that I don't have to go through the Warship level and stuff like that. Now it feels more like Ada holds all the puzzle pieces that Leon was missing, but didn't know about instead of having her own little thing going on. She still has, but it blends in better.
Overall I'd say the DLC (especially Professional S+) felt more manageable than the base game to me and lot less stressful. With Leon it felt like I really needed evevy save that I could have, but with Ada I only really used 7 saves, two were mess ups on my part, because I was used to just save whenever and the last one was pretty much just because I had one left.
The Penanta fight in the beginning was quite tough for me, but the rest was okay, especially El Gigante for some reason. Overall I feel like the toughest part of the whole DLC was the double Garador fight, because small fry + 2 brutes is always a deadly combo, but if you're careful and stack up on Flashbangs before you start it's very doable.
Edit: Also, since I watched a few of your videos I've become a loyal follower of the Bolt Action Rifle. I've always used the semi auto, but not anymore.

the only thing i changed for the run is that i used the chicken hat instead of the sunglasses, because i suck at this game and take a lot more hits than you do lol, the hat really does make a difference

Easy strat in the hallway before the knight room. Just stun the first knight til he goes to his knees, quickly place the silver bottle run around and take it back. The door will close before they can recover and attack you. Good work around if you don’t need their loot.

42:26 If you take back the silver bottle right before picking the gold bottle the archers will have a harder time shooting at you through 2 gates the bolts get stuck between the gaps of the gates

Hey, I have another tip for anyone that is playing on PC (it can be done on console but it’s very difficult to get use to) can use: while aiming the sniper, you can pause to see where you’re aiming at in pause very quickly adjust and pause again to make sure you land perfect shots. It will make boss fights actually easy because every shot you land is on a weak spot.
I suppose it's already known at this point, but I usually just toss a flashbang right before holding the wheel with the 2 chainsaw enemies. Makes doing the speed skip more legit.

I got it on the first attempt, my time was 1:44, just so you guys know when you're in the animation enemies cant hit you, its the same thing on the main game so u can freely go for the valve in salvador and chainsaw lady fight
Easy way to kill the Red Summoner in the courtyard run straight into the yard where the crows are and use the grappling hook to the left of the stairs, he’ll be just to your left when you land. If he gets away just follow him to the top walkway above the entrance

At 1:30:24, after pulling the shield off this guy, don't try to knife prompt him immediately. Instead, wait for him to roll his body from left to right which is pretty quick actually. Once you see he's done rolling, now you can knife prompt him. I've been able to knife prompt him very consistently this way.
