You shouldnt use a wide tooth comb for detangling, there is a detangle brush. It only works on thin short hair. It is damaging if you use it for detangling. You shouldnt really brush wet hair unless you have curly hair. Also there is no reason to buy new wooden brushes if you have plastic ones that are already good enough, if you throw them away thats just more waste. There is no proof that wooden brushes are less damaging, you just need to know how to brush properly.

you can buy bamboo comb/brush on shein, I bought one and my hair aren't frizzy anymore and it feel a bit softer.
