I would love to visit Hokkaido when I go to Japan. Sadly, I will probably need to stay in Honshu. I would love to see the Ryukyu islands and the Kyushu region also but, it would be so expensive. I will hope to see Samurai Fun in Tokyo or Osaka or Kyoto when I am there... 🤞

Fantastic Chokutō (直刀- straight single edged sword) this type sword was part of History of Japan. that was mainly produced prior to the 10th century. After the 10th century, they disappeared as weapons and came to be made only as offerings to Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Its basic style is likely derived from similar swords of ancient China. The The government system of conscription in Japan was ended in 792, and so in the following Heian Period (794-1185), later private armies were formed in order to protect the landed interests (shoen) of nobles who spent most of their time away at the imperial court.

Great video! Subscribed! I noticed that very young children often want to hug Mr. Samurai or just touch him affectionately, whereas the reaction of adults is a combination of awe and fear. Young children appear to express themselves with their hearts; adults with their minds. Because of their young age, maybe young children haven’t been tainted by their environment as much and have pure love?
