So cool being able to look back on these things and seeing how racing was in the past, especially now with GTP returning to life in the form of LMH and LMDh classes. Of course I wasn't around yet to see this racing, being born in '99, but I'm glad to have recently become a racing fan and enjoy what we've got now. INDYCAR is the first (and so far only) race I've been able to go to. Can't wait to watch other kinds live at the track. I can never take for granted the fact we have these tools that can allow us to essentially travel back in time and watch what already happened some time back as if it were on TV today
Another cool race rule during this era is that the driver has to work on the car while breaking down out on the track while the mechanics gave him tools and advice...It would be like a lady changing a flat tire by the side of the road with six guys giving her instructions on how to do it.Scott Pruett fixing his gear linkage when he broke down when leading the race was funny as hell.

I know that this is old but I have a whole new level of respect for Scott Pruett
Man, IMSA really was a whole different animal.
Thanks for posting this.

The Jags last howl😥
Was this Jaguars last race in IMSA?
Yep. Unless you want to count the XKR-based GT cars that ran in ALMS which was a precursor to the current version of the NASCAR-owned IMSA.
do you have 1992 Daytona 24
looks like no one but the Japanese have a record of this race.
