Great to see you and Freddie having a chat, you both have such great channels and both down to earth top blokes! And Mrs Flyer and Monika are pretty awesome to put up with you two! 😊
Really enjoyed today's video. Living across the pond in the US, I've never seen such beautiful works of art. Your presentation and editing was superb. Loved Mrs. Flyers lavender socks- simply smashing, lol. Had to watch it 3 times- enjoyed it so much. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
I could have watched that entire chat with Freddie he’s such a legend!!! The more the merrier when it comes to people not caring about 1000cc+ on the roads
Yes, it takes a special type of legend to ride hundreds of kilometres across Europe on a Triumph twin that’s running on only one cylinder - without checking the plugs or even the plug caps… 🙄🧐😎😜 Don’t get me wrong, Freddie is a delight to watch, and he’s honest enough to admit his mistakes, but eulogising him might be a bit much. Peace
Thanks Andy that show is definitely on my list for next year! My excuse this year is that I was taking my Street Twin on its (and my) first big 1,000 miler solo tour to Scotland. Watching and learning from your touring videos helped give me the confidence to go for it. So happy I did, had the time of my life. Thanks so much😊
Great to see the mutual respect shown between you and Freddie there, I can see a collaboration of some kind on the horizon, would be good to see. Take care and thanks for the content, always a pleasure to watch. ATB
Thank you Mr & Mrs Flyer. What a great show - I've never been but it's on my radar now. Your usual pro editing gives a great flavour of the show without being too lengthy. How much did Mrs Flyer love it there?!! :>)
I enjoyed that! Thanks to you two for visiting and uploading it. I don't have the skills to weld, nor to smash metallic pieces into smooth flowing sheets of coolness, but I do appreciate the skills of those who can.
A show for 'poseurs' not motorcyclists - think the Metisse was about the only bike I liked the look off -must be getting old or maybe good taste and design has gone out the window?
Hi Andy, we were going to say 'Hi' on Saturday morning but it looked like you were filming so I didn't want to bother you. Turns out you were filming because I see us on the video looking at the Super73 Electric Bikes. It was packed on Saturday afternoon but we were fortunate to pop back on Sunday afternoon to get another (longer) look at the bikes. What a fantastic show and an amazing venue! I completely agree about the 'non commercialized' aspect, which was very much appreciated. As was the tea and biscuit deal for £1 from the Losers tea stand! Thanks for a great video.
Ahh was interested to know if you can mix iphone+gopro footage. Looked fun! Test booked 1st Sept🤞. Gorgeous venue might have to brake my go into London rule as bikes are more up my street etc.. Barclona on the Bonneville might have to check that vid out. Know the city well.
Will definitely be putting this date into the calendar for next year, so many beautiful custom bikes on show, real works of art. Imagine flying Freddie & Monica down to the Chilterns for a ride out on your bikes, that would be a pretty entertaining and awesome video to watch 😊
Thanks for bringing us along for a look. Plus 1 👍 for the chat with Freddie, I'd not heard of him before but have seen a little of his youtube stuff now. I agree 100% on the smaller bike travels. Smaller bikes go further on a gallon of petrol and in these straightened times, what's not to like about that? 😁
02:38 Looks like it could of started life as a Honda C90?? Freddie Dobbs, younger and more handsome 🤣🤣 But where is Monika? She is the talented film maker that makes Freddie looks good.
Ha ha!! Yes she does, and I agree 100% that she just has "the eye". I believe she's off home to Lithuania(?) to catch up with family she hasn't seen for years. Freddy's on his own for a bit and has a trip planned.
Great vid as always. I went on Sunday, what a fantastic show in an equally fantastic venue. Bikes, bikes and more bikes, the creativity and engineering was so impressive. Definately my favorite show and many organisors could learn a lot from this
Is it possible that the compliments given to Freddie Dobbs by Mrs Flyer were payback for the time you test rode a Harley and as you were going around a roundabout a pretty girl walked in front of you and you said; 'whoohoo' of which you received a ton of comments....just sayin'
I'm always conflicted by custom bike shows. Plenty of eye candy on one handy on the other hand so many of these bikes will not ever be seriously ridden again which is sad.
Yes I think that is the case with some of the bikes - which is a shame - but not all the bikes are ornaments, I spoke to many owner builders who ride their bikes daily…
Thanks for a peak of a UK Bike Show, and I'm glad Mrs Flyer came and enjoyed it too! Great well blended video, including that convo with the fascinating Freddie Dobbs, alas missing Mrs Dobbs - away editing the videos she artfully puts together. Thanks again, Andy! Graeme NZ.
Excellent video Andy! As other people have said, loved the chat with Freddie. Would be great to have a video with you and Freddie chewing the fat (if he can sit still for 5 minutes!)
Looks like such a great show. Just got to visit the See See Motorcycles “The One Show” in Portland, Oregon, USA. It was kind of like a smaller version of this with a more limited-interest crowd. Thanks for sharing this. Great chat with Freddie Dobbs, too. I see he’s got other fans from among your faithful viewers.
Great to see you and the lovely Mrs. Missenden at the London bike show. It's ironic that I had just finished watching Freddie Dobbs vlog of the same thing and then you go and bump into him at the show! I'm a big fan of Freddie and Monica, super cool couple like yourself and the Mrs and it adds an extra dimension to the vids to include the other half rather than just some bloke on a bIke all the time. Keep em coming, always enjoy your stuff, great channel! 😎😎😎👍
Thanks for that vid Mr&Mrs TMF couldn’t make this year, but agree definitely a top show, a real bike fest that anyone will love … and flags our craz and love for bikes … keep up the great work The bike Shed !! 🤙
Great review of the Bike Shed show, its the first time I'd visited it myself and after a brain reboot (more motorcycle art gallery than bike show ) I thoroughly enjoyed it and will return next year, I did 'clock' myself in your video (well part of me) it just amazed me that I was five feet away from you and still didn't see you and Mrs Flyer (clearly blinded by incredibly beautiful motorcycles)
Great show by the looks of it and one of the downsides of working in mainland europe, I miss so many great events. Good that you bumped into Freddie, another channel I watch, which is one of the reasons I do not post very often 😂 I rode my Tiger back out to Odense in Denmark on Wednesday (11 hours through sun and torrential rain) so now I have something to edit. I will be getting out at weekends to take in some Danish countryside, before heading back to the UK for the ABR festival (only downside is I have to fly to Edinburgh on the Friday to go to stepsons graduation). I will say hello this year, also keen to meet our Canadian guest. Ian
Agree, best show in the U.K., certainly a bigger show than 2019, clearly bike builders had some time during the Covid pandemic to build some great bikes, really great venue!
Another great video! thanks for showing us around a fantastic show! with a great selection of Motorcycles! Nice to have the input of yourself and missus Missendenflyer! I have watched a few of Freddie dobbs videos with his interesting perspectives! my missus is now going to visit the place when next in her home town of London!
I went on the Sunday. Parked in the street you walked down (makes a change to be able to park right outside!). It was my first time and I have to say it was amazing. So many cool bikes in a cool place. Now my No. 1 bike show.
Love it when you comment on the Kawasaki for sale - voice: it’s my colour… brain: how can I justify this one… **take a pic of the number** Brain: we’ll work on this one some more
Looks really cool and one to put in the diary for next year. I have to say the thing that stands out to me other than the fantastic inventiveness and workmanship is the colours. Other than Ducati all modern bikes are so boring, grey, black or blue. Look at these colours metallic red and orange. Black and chrome!! yellows and greens. Love them.
Great video guys. You captured the show really well - will be using it to show my mates what they missed out on. Sorry I didn’t see you & your lovely wife. Hope to see you at the ABR 👍
I'm sorry Andy it's another bit of criticism from me mate, I realise you can't use a lot of the original audio for various reasons but if you are going to add music to the montages please reduce the level so it's not as much 'in your face'. Sometimes it's necessary to raise the volume to hear the commentary but then some glaring jangly music comes on and I'm scrambling to find the volume and turn it down but can't turn it off altogether because it's not so obvious when the dialogue starts again. Music choices are very individual and you can't please everyone all the time so adding any music to videos is never straightforward but drastically reducing the level is a lot more considerate for the viewer.
We went on the Saturday, isn't it fantastic to see the custom builds scene very much alive and well here in the UK. The imagination, engineering and skills are top notch....love it! I hadn't picked up on the lack of "commercialism" but yes you are bang on with that observation.
Thank you for sharing this, out of interest how much would this show cost to visit please ? Is it free parking for bikes ? Looks a great event I would like to go to 👍
Must try and wangle a day off for this next year! That CX with the articulated seat & tank... wow! Some awesome bikes there. Considering the amount of people there, and a combo of phone & camera footage the video came out spot on. Best bit, Mrs Flyer smiling and scratching her head when looking at the Ducati cafe racer!
Mrs Flyer, hit the nail, squarely on the head....... She likes riding her bike, her way, and is happy as she is, doesn't feel the need to change! Top comment Mrs F, well said.
Great to see you and Freddie having a chat, you both have such great channels and both down to earth top blokes! And Mrs Flyer and Monika are pretty awesome to put up with you two! 😊

Wow, thank you very much John!
It was my pleasure to finally meet you, and great video!🙂
Cheers Freddie - Really nice to bump into you, loving your channel, keep in touch!
Love Freddie such a cool ,friendly and no snobbery gentleman! Like a younger TMF ❤👍
Mrs flyer nailed it with her Art show description.
Absolute works of art, some very talented builders out there that’s for sure.
I could have watched that entire chat with Freddie he’s such a legend!!! The more the merrier when it comes to people not caring about 1000cc+ on the roads

Amazed to see so many CX500 based bikes in there. My 40 year old CX is still going well but I couldn't take a grinder to her. Youch!
I agree. There’s a special place in hell for people that do THAT sort of thing to a classic Honda.
Thanks Andy that show is definitely on my list for next year! My excuse this year is that I was taking my Street Twin on its (and my) first big 1,000 miler solo tour to Scotland. Oh brilliant! I trust you had a good tour??
@@TheMissendenFlyer It was great Andy and my waterproofs were fully tested🤣
Scotland is a must, beautiful place to tour on your bike, I'll be their in two weeks time myself...
Great to see the mutual respect shown between you and Freddie there, I can see a collaboration of some kind on the horizon, would be good to see.
Take care and thanks for the content, always a pleasure to watch.

I think there's room for all tastes in motorcycling, I don't think any segment is any more valid than any other!
Hi Andy, we were going to say 'Hi' on Saturday morning but it looked like you were filming so I didn't want to bother you. Wow I missed that bargain! Well done at spotting yourself....sorry we didn't get to chat!
£25 admission was a bit steep. I don't agree about the lifestyle thing, it's not about fashion it's about free will.
Crikey - all a bit deep - all I know is I enjoyed it!
@@TheMissendenFlyer You know the Groucho Marx quote, "I don't want to be a member of any club that would have me as a member".

loads of really cool custom bikes.....................but way too many cafe racers!, i dont get the attraction.
Beautiful custom bikes! Those interesting sport bikes...Oh my sacroiliac! Not for us crusties for sure.

Loved the Bikes using the CX500 engines bought back some memories .
Interesting video & looked fun. Don't blame you for taking the train to avoid the London faff either. Looked like smart move.
Worked for us coming over from the west.....would be fun to ride in but a bit of faff for the two of us.
Loved the video. Even the bit were Freddie says "How often do you go above 70" Often. Lol.
Can't believe you we right next to me filming, had my head down looking at the bikes otherwise I would have said hello.

Great show, the Indian at 1:30, wow. And I see the CX500 has a following.
The Triumph White Helmets bike was my favourite.
Full marks for the CX-500! with the hide away seat.
I must have missed your customized Royal Enfield!!
Would loved to have gone but couldn't make it - great coverage - Thanks

You and Mrs. Flyers are looking good! Love seeing video content when you two are out and about. Take care and keep the rubber side down!
Saw two lovely Ducatis in the parking space 😘
Great upload, I hadn't heard of this before but will try and go next year 🤞

Great vid as ever Andy, and Carol of course, but why are so many of the bikes painted in that horrible 1970s hospital green colour ?

Great video, Freddie Dobbs is a legend, you should do a proper collaboration with him , that would be 2 legends together😊
We have talked about doing just that.....
You have extremely low standards for what a 'legend' is............
Beautiful machines and a big fan of Freddie
Great show! Love that it’s just bikes and bike people. Too much corporate in the world these days.
Couldn't agree more Bob!
Definitely a case of less is more with those lovely bikes.
Just curious, after seeing quality work done well, what do you now think about the work carried out on your Enfield..?
I’m very happy with it thank you….
Looks awesome! BTW these are the world's best custom bikes not just British bikes.
Couldn't agree more!

love it! (liked the green Kawasaki near the beginning. with a flip up light!?).
Cool wasn't it....
Wonder why less commercialism is such a visible attribute? The answer to that question may not be as self evident as it first appears.
I'm going to have to think about that one!
Hello Sir. Great show and I was there all weekend, so I am very sorry to learn that I missed you. Perhaps I will see you at the Bike Shed sometime?
Next time!
Good video and nice to see all those custom bikes.
Mrs Flyer needs to be on your vids more👏👍🏻

Brilliant show, but it was criminal going by train when you have the fantastic Gold Wing sitting in your garage lol
Not the best bike for crossing the length of London 2 up to be honest....as much as I love the ol' thing!
Really cool show. I did not realised it was this big. It’s nice to see not all same chin over the headlight style. Some lovely bikes!
Thanks for watching!
Mrs Flyer forgot to add "taller" to the list 😉
So why didn’t you take the Interceptor? After such a long wait to get it finished with its own story would have been nice to see it there!!
