This has happened to me a few times and omg it is the best feeling. Like yes, I finally look androgynous/queer enough that people think I might go by other pronouns!
Not autistic but I really love those types of spoons. Only for like dainty light things like stirring or parfait. I don’t really like thicker spoons and how they feel but they end up being better for heavier meals.
I hate when I am called queer (it is a word that was used to make me feel unsafe including a time when I was chased) but I would never tell someone else to not "re-claim" that phrase when identifying themselves or using it to describe something about themselves. However, I don't support using it as an umbrella term for the entire community. But as a Bisexual I am sadly used to having my voice not heard or respected. When it comes from inside the community, it's annoying, but I hate it when it comes from cishets.
Yeah same on the not liking it being an umbrella term. It's the main reason why I avoid queer in my sentences unless they strictly identify with the label "queer"
@@Yourmajesty-zc2js nothing happened it was just very ironic timing ("i like your shoelaces" "thanks i stole them from the president" is the code for finding other people who use tumblr)
1:31 I do appreciate the hair dresser wanting to clarify the style with the customer, but the repeated "what I'm getting from you is..." really got under my skin. It felt really patronising and something a crap therapist would say when you've poured your heart out. I know this may be me projecting, and the haircut looks really cool. The client looks really happy with it and the hair dresser clearly knows what they're doing, no question. I'm also aware they were likely able to give such a unique hair cut by asking all the questions. I do love that she asked before touching them as that shows respect and boundaries. It may just be my ND being spicy and not liking the repetition. 🤷♀️
I also like they asked before touching them. I remember seeing a bunch of neurotypical conservatives hating on that and not doing any research as to why or even paying slightly more attention. As a neurodivergent individual I find it overwhelming to be touched too much outside of actually cutting the hair, so airstylists who are aware of that and make sure their clients are okay with it make it so much easier to go get a haircut. I’ve been going to the same person since I was a child because she understands that you don’t have to touch someone a ton to cut their hair; she asks a lot of questions and asks for references, but the whole time she hardly touches me/my hair before she starts cutting it.
23:52 also just because it's rude, they're just body parts. there is nothing disgusting about a penis or a vagina just because you aren't sexually attracted to those gentials. like even if trans gay ppl didn't exist, just why are you disgusted by someone else's body??
5:05 now I'm not autistic... but the tiny spoon is *chefs kiss" I cannot eat with big spoon (is that a tiny spoon it looked like it to me I'm not actually sure-)
It took awhile of searching since I was confused as well, but from what I did seem to find; apparently a guy called Dreamybull, I think posted himself on twitter-censoring language a bit- having a really enjoyable time with his lower body part. That’s really not safe. They can get stuck really easy and even if you don’t choke on them the meds can end up burning your esophagus. It’s best to just get a quick sip of *something* when you take them to avoid that outcome.

To say I’m disappointed with the anti Romani sentiment in the queer community is an understatement. Reposting this and deleting my previous comment for clarity Let me rephrase this because so many people are loosing their minds. Queer terms have also been influenced by Romani people that used polari and were circus performers. The term fruit has been around for a long time but different applications have influenced the way we use it now. Romani terms and culture have influenced language, dance, and culture today, but are often immediately discredited for their contributions due to anti Romani sentiments. This discrimination is particularly common in Europe, but is still very alive in the US. If you see info mentioning Romani people and their influence and don’t agree, take a moment to ask yourself if that opinion has been influenced by said anti Romani sentiment or if the poster just worded it wrong. I am not an educator, which is why I directed people to Florida.Florian who is. I’m sorry if my previous statement was confusing, but the response from others was anger instead of correction and that is so disappointing. Romani people HAVE influenced language and refusing to recognize that erases their value as people. I’m not trying to create fallacies or make up stuff, I’m just not an expert. Once again, directing others to the actual Romani educator that can explain this better.
Sorry to be rude, but how is people who are just being themselves and having fun cringe? Like I'm sorry that you're so insecure you have to make fun of other people's happiness, I hope you're able to address those issues and get the help you need /srs
