this is my first time to listen to this song... what made me listens to it is the music... it's Lin Hai .. then I heard Deng Lun voice.... it is so angelic !!!! definitely I'm going to watch the film now.
The music (of the entire movie) was amazingly played with Chinese traditional instruments (especially the front end in the beginning credit). And it was composed by a Japanese. I also saw the original (Japanese) versions many years ago, nothing close to this one though.
I'm just glad Bo Ya not forever in Vermillion shape after the battle, if so the farewell at the ending will be gold vermillion on fire flies thru the night sky rather than an arrow 😘😂
Thank you for the English lyrics. I love his speaking and singing voice. His unique speaking voice first got my attention. He is a very focused performer and a wonderful actor. I have watched, Ashes of Love; Sweet Dreams; Investiture of the Gods and I look forward to watching this one as well as his other performances.
i just noticed in the movie, that moment Qingming disappeared when he returned home, the lyrics appeared on the screen and they are about both of them, names included.... ahhh such masterpieces, both the movie and this song. P.S.: the second lines of words are qingming and boya, both the characters' names and their actors. however, i'm still puzzled about what's the third flash of lines on the screen their meaning is.
wait. now i get it after i did my research. the first flash of golden words after Qingming's exit is the lyrics about him and Boya. the second flash of golden words are Qingming's and Boya's names along with their actors' names, Qing Ming: Zhao Yu Ting, and Bo Ya: Deng Lun. and, the third flash of golden words are director: guo jing ming and screenwriter: guo jing ming. i thought they were quotes, turned out they're actually just names. hahahaha
Ok, explanation, the lyric translation here is wrong in one part. Look at the ending scene once again and when the text appears listen to the music. The text is translation of the lyrics that are being played in the background : "Qing Ming shines brightly, like a star" and "Boya's bow springs with joy" in pinyin it is "Xing Qingming yue zhao shan ye" and "Feng Boya xian wang jun le"
@@DanaLover so, the translation of the video is wrong? I have had that doubt for quite some time. On Netflix it says one thing, but all translations say something different. Which is correct?
@@cdec5663 Yes, it is a totally different experience if you read the traditional Chinese. The translation can only get the meaning but not the feeling or emotion. Some of the script has Chinese literature reference. I turned on the English version and quickly reversed back to Chinese.
@@likeahan954 Yeah, now that I think of it, I am pretty sure it’s not 100% accurate since there is really no real way to translate it. And back when I made this video, I was rushing (which I shouldn’t have) so the transition is kinda off. But that’s my fault.
Sorry but i watch this movie for 7times. Boya and Qingming are my one of THE BEST actors in Chinese movies. Including the THE UNTAMED.
I KNEW THERE FACES ARE FAMILIAR, wich characters they act?
@@lanlan1713 the actors who played boya and qingming did not act in untamed😅
I love his acting, but what first attracted me was his voice. He's so underrated an can sign in almost any genre.
one of the best chinese movie i ever watched..and deng lun is indeed a very talented actor..and have a very soothing voice too..❤👏👏👏

I wish I can be in Chinese ancient times. It must be really fun.
Me too🥺
haha! I am that old to tell you it was no fun. :) (for one, you don't have an iphone)
If it was like a c drama yes please however if it was like history then no thank you I'd rather not get poisoned
Wuxia drama vs reality in ancient Chinese times

Japanese animes vs reality in Japan
damn, in those days you could really die poisoned even by your sister just for using her hairpin, maybe? 😤

I got a question. The Chinese word that everyone can read is 100% accurate?
From what I checked, yes it is accurate, if you can read it, is it accurate? I can’t read Chinese much.
I can't too.. Even though I'm chinese. 😅
