  • @unsolv3d

    If you use normal friendship bracelet string, which is different than this, this is more smooth and doesn’t feel like cotton that is used in friendship string. The friendship bracelet string will just catch fire when you use the lighter and char, instead of fusing together the strings together which means some of the strings will fall out, because they aren’t fused together

    • @CurlyMade
      @CurlyMade  5 лет назад +2

      I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with what is a "normal" friendship bracelet sting, if it is made of nylon it will melt, if it has cotton in it, then it will not and so it will burn.

    • @CurlyMade
      @CurlyMade  5 лет назад

      Maybe the problem was the type of sting that you used. Try using the same string but instead of melting use glue to hold the knots or get a polyester or nylon cord.

    • @theresah6050
      @theresah6050 5 лет назад +3

      @@petrishalee2315 For the twists, you have to twist the individual strings one way (like clockwise), then when you are twisting them together, twist them the opposite way (like counter clockwise). The strings won't melt unless there's nylon in the string. Cotton will just burn.

      Ayleen Alvarez i saw another comment saying to use hot glue. idk if it works but good luck

    • @CurlyMade
      @CurlyMade  5 лет назад

      Yes, just use glue or nailpolish to hold the ends

    • @CurlyMade
      @CurlyMade  5 лет назад

      Hot glue seems a bit too thick, but might work, haven't tried it. I would say to use a water resistant glue or nailpolish

  • @samanthahightower364

    This is stupid it all worked until the square not your vid that you suggested explained how to do it on 3 different straight cords not 2 crossed and one straight

    • @CurlyMade
      @CurlyMade  5 лет назад

      It is the exact same process, except that one of the cords comes from the oposite direction. You just need to make the square knots around those two.
