I think the top priority is to get offline mode ready and everything else comes after that.

Kinda sad they mentioned longevity but there's no offline functionality, I really hope it comes eventually. I was hoping it would be here by launch like the previous two games.

Yea, that's one of my main complaints too. Even if we ignore the elephant in the room, the game servers inevitably shutting down one day, there's still a huge issue with queue times for solo play being really slow for literally no reason. The game itself is fucking awesome, but getting into a game is needlessly painful.
@@bhipper2027offline is not the same as invite only. we have to keep relying on the servers not going down. That’s they mean by offline

Or like me Losing true server errors Hours of Money i get a Bit from (XP) but its Pain to see u waisted a lot of Money becaus 2 Missions Failed because de Server crash while u was Escaping
the trash bags is a nice touch to make it feel like the shit hole it is in real life, but it also serves a gameplay element, very nice.
And they're bulletproof just like real life. Those New Yorkers sure love throwing out ceramic armour plates and perspex glass.

You can't play, they put all their money into an Ice-T voice over and nothing on servers.
The game is so good I forgot ive been playing early access. It was just so fun with tons of players already playing and being constructive
I do hope some mechanics are added. Like a better menu ui payday 2 s ui was amazing and allowed a lot faster queue times. I also hope they add the music selector

@@gameexpert133 Definitely. PD3 looks actually good but it needs more polished UI and just a few QoL changes. Music selector also. The only thing that kinda bothers me are the animations..

On the topic of things to add, its such a small thing but a "random heist" quickplay buttton would be appreciated. Other than that all I can say is the gameplay itself has been so satisfying, from the gunplay to the stealth

The game actually looks so good, it’s so weird people looked at beta footage like it was the way the game looked Ike at launch. The graphics may not be advancing the industry but the style is so incredible. The nightclub is the most John Wick a payday heist has ever looked.

hope there will already be a few fixes for unlocks only happening in the next game session, matchmaking weirdness: for example, after a failed heist, i can decide to go to main menu while other people in the party can restart. That brings me in a weird place where I can't join the game any longer and have to relog. Researching , earning infamy through challenges and leveling weapons should be more clarified.
But overall I like this payday better, it just feels and plays nicer, more complexity in stealth, more emphasis on weakpoints on the varied special enemy types...
Accessibility wise, I'd like an option for the guards to show a detection meter above their head.. it's clearer than the growing directional damage indicator. in my view, it doesn't really telegraph the situation of a guard detecting you very well.
I ealy have no big problems gameplaywise with this game at all, it's really fun to play. But I would like to say, Quality of Life stuff could have been much better, but I know Starbreeze and they LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY! (you heard that, other dev studios??!!) so I hope and belive that these QoL stuff is just a matter of the time they need to implement it :)
the only problem i got is i cant redeem my collectors edition codes on psn because its broken :(
Honestly, the game is fun and feels like a re-vamp of Payday 2 (shocker), but it still feels a little empty.

> Shoot police. (Level up skills, and weapons)
> Loot money. (Buy weapons and new Modifications)
> Repeat.
It's pretty simple, and I guess I was expecting a little more of a change from Payday 2 to Payday 3, given the 10 years between the two titles.
I enjoy the game and will continue to play and support it, just seems off.
I've been following these Dev Diaries since the first one released. They were a phenomenal way of building excitement and hype up until launch day. I can't believe we are finally here!! The sequel to Payday 2 has been one of my most highly anticipated games and it shocked me when it was revealed 3 months ago to be coming out this year. I am going to be grinding this game non-stop. As a console player on PS5, I am extremely thankful that the sequel will be getting post-launch support on console alongside PC. Payday team, you guys are the absolute best. Thank you SO much for all of your hard work to get here today.
Maybe you servers wouldn't take a shit if you added offline play.
Thinking FAR into the future here. But a police film called bad boys 4 is in production. It would be so incredibly cool if you guys struck up a deal with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence from that film to have some sort of crossover event later in payday 3's life. I would DIE to see that
I have to say the levelling up system feels incredible restricting and frustrating. Not only you have to do certain challenges to level up but what worst you have to gain the items at a certain level too. It makes it feel shallow and boring very quickly.
What I love about Payday 2 the stuff you get are randomly given to you at end of every heists. (The 3 cards you pick) and you could get masks, weapon mod, paint for the mask or some extra cash. Everything was random which makes it interesting for all players because everyone is different in their appeal.
But in Payday 3 its not. Making it feel the same which could lead to the game staleness pretty quickly.
Hope you devs read this Criticism well and hopefully address the levelling system in the updates. The gameplay is the best thing but if it back with that levelling up system then it makes the game feel a bit shallow
Fix ur servers and make an offline mode

that's pretty easy to do considering I am the bug master with how easy the game breaks when i am playing
As a New Yorker I'm surprised they took detail to even the garbage piled up on the side walks because that's exactly what it's like. Also I hope we go to all the boroughs

The heists themselves are amazing! I think Jewlery Store is my favorite for gameplay and how it can be done fast or slow, stealth or no.
Aesthetically, Nightclub hands down. Throw some strobe lights in there when Unreal 5 drops. 🤣🤙
My only concern is weapon progression seems a tad slow. Though I have been focusing on just leveling one primary. It may go quicker if I use a new side arm to stack level progression with challenges.
I only fear that in late game some heists may be jeopardized due to folk wanting to get a challenge done rather than completing the heist when it should be.
Outside of those little things, the game is solid, it's fun, it looks great, and I can't wait to see what ya'll bring to the table in the future. My wallet is ready!

Playing the early access was fun as hell. I really enjoy how the Payday community works together instead of being selfish, such a refreshment knowing i have teammates that actually want to cooperate haha.
Watching this while suffering under the effects of this game not being peer to peer!
Also funny how one of the devs stated that the community can now own the game even though they have the ability to remove our ownership due to the online only service.

I think I can speak for everyone here, that what we want is random objectives. We don't want a linear Heist...it gets stale fast. What we want is a heist that changes it's objectives up everytime we restart it. So it's never the same. Hyped to see new heists and also the music.
Still a step up from how painfully slow some objectives were in PD2 ^-^

The problem of not entering the game with the players must be solved quickly
I played the game for two days of early access (couldn’t for the first day because PS5 but hey the extra wait was worth it) and it was a blast all the way through. Did a stream with my friend the first day and we both loved it. Not many complaints aside from a few minor issues like the UI being a bit awkward to navigate or not being able to map your own button layout, but it’s overall a great game and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
Yea the UI has def been designed for pc. You can navigate with kb/m pretty quickly. Still it def needs to be more user friendly.
@@exan6970yes its easier to navigate on PC but It's still clunky and unintuitive. Hope they fix It asap along with the server browser.

I've only been playing the game for a couple of days (bought the silver edition) but I still want to say that Pd3 is one of the best games I've played in a long time. Been trying to avoid spoilers to enjoy the seriously BEAUTIFUL maps you guys have made for us.
You have to change both your mindset and your game plan to cope with the different layouts that the heists have to offer.
Gunplay is an important part for me and it's probably the only place where I personally would have liked the guards to have a little more "bounce" when shooting them with larger caliber weapons.

I got 26 hours on the game in the 3 day early access and I have every skill and I use only the same ones cause they are the best I would really love more skills and more balancing maybe a system where certain skills cost more point and those are the better ones, more progression in general would be amazing but you guys absolutely nailed the gameplay itself truly amazing❤❤❤❤❤ I love dirty ice

The game is great fun so far. But please explain mission-specific favors. I don't know anybody who understands them yet. How do we get them? How can we try to farm them?

hello I would like to know when I get the pre-order bonuses for the gold edition because I have been playing since the 18th and I still do not have them and I am playing on ps5 please answer me thank you
been playing for the last three days. I do feel we have a couple small issues that can bring the tram building out, one is voice chat, it'll be great to not have to stand still to give vital information especially when your in a gun fight. Along with team building, theres also no way to communicate within the loby, discussing either to go loud or quiet. And finally loby menus, like you pick a heist and what difficulty you would like to play in, then see a list of players doing the same. But everything of this gane feels great, the combat, the rush of going loud, or the big brain thinking when going stealth, it makes me so excited to see where this gake is going in the future.
Payday 3 is so fun and I really enjoyed playing it when It came out early on the 18th and I will always play it nonstop, you guy's are the best game developer to make payday the heist, payday 2 and now payday 3,had a blast on payday 3.
I love you devs yall just make my day i hope payday 3 gets some awesome updates in the future
I like how they stuck with Hoxtons original mask but one little nitpick I have is that it's a little too polished than it was in 2 where the pink and black paint was smeared while in 3 it's a little too clean

LOL! You can't be serious.
Just a few quotes from Starbreeze/Overkill (It's the same entity, despite what some people still think) employees:
- "Your oppinion, my choice" (Bo Andersons response in regards to 90% of the community hating the teleporting flashbang spam, it was never changed)
- "Our game will drop with 30 missions on release" (Payday 2 releases with 11 missions instead)
- "We will never do Microtransactions. Shame on you for thinking otherwise" (Almir back in 2013, 2 years later loot boxes were added to the game)
- "We will drop the console update as soon as possible" (PS3 and Xbox360 NEVER received an update, PS4 and XBox One also stopped support quiickly and were left abandoned)
- "If a game i really like isn't working on consoles, i'd switch platform and play it fucking there" (Overkill employee Melanie Schreiber on Twitter responding to customers who complained about the console versions getting no updates)
- "Well they won't. That's my answer" Almir Listo on the question what happens if the Servers go down. Servers have been down since yesterday, nobody can play
- "Right now it's not in the plans. We believe most of the requests come from the matchmaking issues" - The tone deaf reply by Overkill Elizabeth to the ENTIRE COMMUNITY begging for lobby browser, because the current random matchmaking system with the fact that people instantly get disbanded after one heist is absolutely atrocious.
And the total silence in regards of Epic Crossplay and the fact that Payday 2 since then doesn't work properly. They don't care, they don't respond, they aren't going to fix it, despite the fact that a lot of people can't even play the game anymore, thanks to numerous connection issues and this has been ongoing for quite a few months now.

Payday 3 heists are amazing so far -- and some of my favorite Payday maps from all 3 games. Love the stealth and gameplay changes. The combat feels more like Payday The Heist.
But there are definitely some UI issues. Can't unready once you ready up. Can't buy favors from the heist matchmake screen. And why cant you buy the heist specific favor? The second Heist rewards more on Normal than the 1st and 3rd on very hard.
The weapon customization and patterns is strange, but I can get used to it.
I love how each weapon has its own leveling system, makes playing with weapons feel more rewarding.
I can't wait for more and to see how this game evolves into the best Payday experience so far.
Here’s hoping the upcoming content is a memorable and long lasting as payday 2’s

Did one last car shop in payday 2 to say goodbye, can’t wait to play 3 all day today
the first heist I want to see is an equivalent to another raid on a murkywater facility (doesn't have to be the murkies) where you're stealing weapons, ammo and a few "specialized" objects for maybe gage or the butcher.
Then there's cars. everyone's seen the trope of cars being taken over and driven remotely, I'd adore seeing that concept worked into a heist where you have to maybe clear out a ferry that you don't have access to the main deck and you load up a barge that drives up along side and whisks the vehicles away
and finally, stealing an airplane properly (and not just using it as a method of escape). maybe a more grey repo company wants a jet taken from a very resistant customer, and its in an actual airport. Requiring the heisters to deal with a completely stealth heist where they have to get identification and a flight plan hacked into the systems with an alesso-esque "you need to say []" off of the flight plan, or if it does go loud getting an escort for the aircraft to clear off the runway. a very flexible idea that would be awesome
when could we purchase the battler passes separately just went stadered and hope to upgrade before the next heist this winter hiest ,so hyped to play!
