I knew Kenny. Used to follow a band called The Deserters around Toronto. They kicked ass. Then a solo run. Go check out the song Don’t look back. Then he blonded up his Scottish reds and joined the band. What a lovely man. Miss him dearly. He should have been here. 😢
Bass player and keyboards Kenny Maclean passed away in 2008, it happened on a Friday night and a reunion rehearsal was scheduled for the following Monday.
@@scottwhite7789 You are correct. He suffered from tinnitus from all the years of playing drums (the cymbals are usually the main culprit) so he had to leave the band.

wow who would have expected them playing arenas in 2024 and idol too, even though the new idol songs are great
I know Chris left but I saw him accepting awards with the guys a few weeks ago. Didn’t know if he was back for the short tour.

@@KozakSports Pretty sure that Chris left the band many years ago due to an ailment from playing drums; I think carpal tunnel syndrome or tinnitus.
