thank you for the explanation. it was clear and precise. i had trouble understanding this and a lot many concepts in the online 2M classes due to the pandemic because of the unavailability of a decent internet connection with me at the time. This clears many things up.

Sir isn't equation of time in minutes and seconds. @ 14:30 you say equation of time in hours. I guess you said it by mistake.
But after that all solution will come wrong ( i.e where it should be seconds we will consider it as minute)
Please correct me if my observation was wrong .

Historically, all ancient Civilizations used only the "True Sun" for time keeping.
In America where I live, the "Standard Time" we use today actually developed out of the system developed and used by the Rail Roads, to keep track of trains and prevent deadly accidents!
And it was originally called "Railroad Time"!!!
I think it became in general use in the United States 🇺🇸 before the 1880's or so. Sorry, I'm an old man, but not quite that old! 😅

Hello sir, you said mean sun takes 24 hrs a day so mer pass according to it will br during 1200 noon right.But in the video you said in the almanac we uses mean sun for mer pass it should be true sun right ?

Sir i have a doubt here, initially u said bcoz the mer pass while considering true sun keeps changing that's why we use true sun which keeps a constant time... But in almanac later on as we saw.. The time for mer pass is different for subsequent days which is actually mean sun time it means the mean sun time also keeps changing.. It's not constant., conversely the true sun mer pass is 1200 . Pls explain

In your solution you perhaps inadvertently called the values 13 48, 13 55, and 13 52 as "hours". Shouldn't they have been called "minutes"?
The video was perfect up until 15:00, then you raced ahead and didn't explain anything, and the math is a mess and hard to follow. I'm absolutely not knocking your video, it's superb.

Sir , the equation of time is given in minutes and second . How did u take 7 as a minute to calculate the equation ?
It was the difference between the two times given in the almanac. To get 1830 hours on the 13th you get the times between 1200hours on the 13th and 0000hrs on the 14th and subtract one from the other giving 7 minutes.
Edit: it looks like it should have been 7 seconds NOT 7 minutes.
The equation of time is in minutes and seconds. I don't know how seconds turned into minutes in your solution. For the 13th (1200 hrs), the value given is 13 min 48 sec and for the 14th (0000 hrs) it's 13 min 55 sec. The difference between the two times is only 7 seconds not 7 minutes. I could be interpreting this incorrectly. Please explain.
you are correct.
It looks like you are correct. It looks like it's labelled for minutes and seconds meaning that the figure to work with should be 7 seconds (and not 7 minutes). A quick calculation would give the answer 4 seconds anyway, without having to do the last calculation.
But the answer will be the same which is 13 m and 51.8 seconds.
Sir you told mean sun is fictional and then how can it's mer pass value changes it must be 12 and true sun's value must change right

This dude mixed up minutes for seconds. The actual Eq. of Time for Oct 13 @ 1830 is 13min 52sec, not 13hrs 52min as mentioned in the video.
Not clear equation of time
Man, 1348 and 1355 are minutes and seconds, not hours and minutes.
