it is about lonliness and hard time in our lifes. Ramonda is flower whichcan be found in central balkan and hes nickname is "Phoenix Flower". even if it dries out completly one drop of water and flower come back in life, just like ppl afther hard times in our lives. That flower also represent Serbian rebirth in ww1, something similar like poppy flower in UK.

Natalie's Ramonda, known as “phoenix flower”, became a symbol of Serbian suffering during the Great Retreat of the First World War. The rebirth is related to the Serbia's ability to get back on its feet after an exhausting battle.❤

The message can apply to all of us, to rise from every suffering and difficult life period and turn our weakness into strength, just as the Serbian people experienced recovery after great human losses during the WW1>
The symbol of Armistice Day in the First World War..
That is why 'Ramonda' is Serbian national flower, a symbol of peace and hope for survival and recovery. 'Ramonda' grows only in the central Balkans, which practically means on the territory of some mountain in Serbia' Anyway, it is 'the protected species of plant'.. It is also called the'phoenix flower'.. A wonderful plant, so common, yet so strong and hardy..
By repeating of Lillac 'Ramonda' she calls out for Ramonda to appear..
She is looking for a 'guiding star' (called Danizza - in most Slaves country around here) to show her the way out to salvation.
    🌸☮️
And then..." there is one Ramonda rising up from the ashes"..
    💜

What’s more significant is the meaning and f the Lila Ramonda that represents Hope & Peace that was officially adopted as a symbol after the peace treaty was signed in Versailles ,France post World War l . It is a great reminder for all of us to not to repeat such a tragic past . So Ramonda flower is an endangered species in Serbia that became a symbol of peace and hope . So I love the message of this song it’s so deep.

Ramonda serbica - the phoenix flower, an endemic, relict plant of southeastern Serbia, is a symbol of the Serbian victory in WWI and the enormous sacrifice that the Serbian people made for their freedom and the freedom of neighboring nations. A third of the total population lost their lives, but the Serbian nation rose from the ashes like a phoenix. The song is about the pain of loss and the hope of resurrection!

The message of this song is very very important on this day and age.
The rest of the songs are just "mind switched off" and party... and when i saw that irish song... with demons and all.. and when i realised how much attention that song drew, and how many views it has when compared to ramonda... where is this world going to? What are we doing? How have we ended up in this dark place...

In the First World War, Serbia lost about 30% of its population, 60% of its male population. The figure is around 1,200,000 inhabitants who lost their lives. This is perhaps the highest percentage that a country lost in that war. Ramonda is an endemic species and has 3 subspecies. One grows on the Iberian peninsula and in Serbia there is Ramonda Serbica and Natalija's ramonda, which was named after the Serbian queen. Both species are endangered and are protected by law. Natalija's ramonda is also known as the phoenix because it can to dry completely and to revive again when the conditions are favorable. In the First World War, Natalija's ramonda was taken as a symbol of Armistice Day and as a symbol of Serbian suffering in that war, as a new beginning, as a phoenix. The song follows these two stories. It tells where the purple Ramonde disappeared, as a metaphor for the suffering that Serbia suffered. During the performance, purple luminous dots appear on the LED screens that rise and rise. They represent the souls of Serbian soldiers who died defending their country and which go to heaven. At the end of the words, a purple ramonda rises from the ashes. That verse represents the aspiration for a better tomorrow, for the end of war, for the end of suffering, for peace..
    Blue tomb.
In one part of the song, he says, everything is quiet under the sea. When the Serbian army retreated through Albania to the Greek island of Vido, many soldiers died of disease and hunger. It is estimated that around 5,000 people died then and were thrown into the Ionian Sea for eternal rest. Since then, that place has been called the blue tomb.

She is mourning her father (there's no one to guide her to the morning star), but also so many serbian fathers that lost their lives in the WWI. Serbian lost a third of their population in that war. The blue tomb is where the dead were thrown into the sea, because the number was so high they couldn't burry them more on the Vido island in Greece where Serbian army retreated (where many lay in silence under the water). Lila Ramonda represents Serbians who rose from the ashes of the WWI and came back to life just like Lila Ramonda only needs a drop of water to revive. It's the resilience and the hope she is looking for after the loss of her father.
Simply beautiful! I cry every time I hear it! Love to Teya Dora! ❤

Also the road for wounded is sybolically represents the road the Serbian army took on foot, retreating from Serbia over the mountains of Albania to get to Greece. So many lost their lives there too.

I am glad that you included the translation so that you can understand and feel this very emotional song and story about our Ramoda. Ramonda is a phoenix flower that can come back to life even if it is completely dead. Ramonda is also a saint and a symbol of the truce in the First World War. Which symbolizes the rise of the Serbian army and its personification. After 1/3 of the Serbian soldiers died, they were buried in the sea.🇷🇸🇷🇸🌸🌸🕊️

  • @janakolasinac1686

5:16 that's true historical story. In WW1 Serbian people, soldiers, wounded soldiers, the King and all the ministeries (after the Austro-hungarians, Germans and Bulgarians made the massive attack and surounded Serbia, starting to kill People and taking over the serbian teritories) didn't want to surrender and sign capitulation, so they all retreat accross Albanian mountains (trough the snow) to Greece. So they could unite with other alies, get weapons (they been left without munition), get strenght and come back to free Serbia and all other Balkan countries. In WW1 Serbia lost 60% of male population (15-65 years old), and 30% of people if you look at all population. From 4 milion population Serbia lost 1.3mil!
