I have a ZR2 also leveled with 33s. Use it offroad camping, and drive 700 miles a week highway and average 25 mpg! 40k miles 0 issues.
any issue fitting 33's?
What leveling kit did you use? Any wheel rub? Just got a 2022 ZR2 and already thinking about getting the GM Performance Leveling kit

Love our 2018 ZR2 V6, prefer the old grill vs the new one. We kept the stock stance, and we like the front lean better then leveled out. My girlfriend's big complaint was the "cheap" interior. Fords worth $20k less has stitched leather dash and door panels. But we bought it for the exterior design and the off road features, especially the front locker. As for issues, only the trans shudder and it was fixed easily with a flush and the improved fluid. Handled better then a Tacoma TRD Pro with $6500 worth of upgrades, and even the Jeep owners were impressed with it's capabilities. (And we used to have a Wrangler, and Jeep clubs are normally snubs about stock, let alone non-Jeep products!)
The grille on the zr2 is very nice :)
What size was the leveling kit, 1 1/4"? Love my 2020.

Ben did this truck have tire rub at all with the 275/70/17 with the level kit? I’m assuming it wasn’t trimmed at all
The people who get ZR2s/AT4s and don't go off-road are the same ones who wear Timberlands but never go hiking.

It's the same people who get a Toyota Land Cruiser or Toyota 4Runner. He get all the beefy off-road but never take it off road. Most people who get trucks don't even use it for the truck purposes anymore. I know so many people who get a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck to get the leather package to leather seats and they never use the bed of the truck one they get it because they say it's a luxury vehicle no dummy is a truck but hey I'm not the one spending $50,000 and will never use the bed of the truck if I have a truck out use it for what
@@tiariksims623 that's a possibility they like the way it looks but a lot of the features that come with the truck like four low four High most people don't even know what that is you can get it lower-end model save yourself some money cuz if you're never going to use the features that the truck has been why you get an off-road version and since my cake on it that's like why would you buy a Lamborghini. And only do 65 and never go faster than the speed limit that's what they were intended for us to go
What size are the BFG KO2's? Are they larger than the stock 265/65/17 Duratrac's? Also, which leveling kit did you use on this truck?
I believe that’s a 1” level and when I freeze the video; tires appear to be 285/70/17 (roughly 33”).
Ben there is now a 2021 ford explorer timberline edition if the vehicle is in stock for you. Tbh it ill be cool to compare it with a regular explorer

I'd love to get this truck...but Chevy needs to definitely do a redesign. Why are they still using dated shifter and keyed ignition in 2021...
2023 complete refresh inside and out. New powertrain.rumored a 10 speed transmission and 2.7 turbo v4 that's currently in the Silverado

The 2023 better step it up! This truck is extremely outdated. What the truck needs is shocks that don't leak, a tranny that shifts properly, LED headlights, push button start, more camera options, and an upgraded engine with better fuel economy.

Only thing I would change about this whole truck is the paint job white vehicle seen that hat paint flakes off and chip the older it gets and it shows a lot of dirt
Pushed our trucks to the limit on Drummond Island, broke a CV and had a great time figuring out how to get home. Always a great time out on the trails. Drummond Island is no joke! This was the most difficult trail we have done there to date; Tight Twisties.

Tell me if I'm wrong for a lot of people they want to go get the newest and latest and greatest truck and spend $50,000 right why don't you go and get maybe instead of a 2021 you get a 2019 model you more than likely going to get the upgraded package and you're going to save money that's the best way to buy a vehicle is getting older model cuz you're going to get more bang for your buck then you will find a brand new
Dealers are selling these at a 15-20k markup right now; if it were up to me I’d definitely look at getting this for my Tacoma. Just gotta wait the market out for now 😁

???? I negotiated and paid 48k for my ZR2 Bison 3.6??? Much less than the TRD Pro I looked at and I feel much more capable.
if you can even find them. There's 3 grey ZR2 (non bisons) on dealer lots in the whole country (at least on Autotrader & Cars.com). I've been waiting for mine since mid March. who knows how long i'll be waiting lol.
If your dealer is selling trucks for 15 to 20k markup it's time to find a new dealer. Clearly trying to screw the customer is not a dealer that I would do business with.

For the few “special” people bagging on the interior & saying it’s dated. My question is compared to what?
It’s a mid-size truck on par with the Ranger & better than the Tacoma. If you want a posh interior; you’ll need to spend at least +$10K and step up to a Lariat F-150 or Laramie Ram. Maybe do some research on the segment before making an ignorant comment. Heck, Nissan just introduced a new Frontier & the interior is literally no better. Would it be nice to have push button start or more soft materials - sure. However, it’s not a $70K Ford F-150 Platinum … it’s a $45K mid-size. 🤡🌍

ZR2 vs Ranger Tremor both the same leveled or stock. I already have a Tremor on order but wanted to know what you think just because lol
Tremor is faster and I haven’t taken a zr2 offroad yet
@@2011buddylee the Tremor makes more torque and has a 10 speed vs an 8 speed. It is quicker than the ZR2. HP matters but torque is what makes it quicker and makes it feel more powerful.
