This 100% resonated. My youngest sis is the copycat of me. Shes jealous and competitive with me. I wouldn't mind it if she expressed that shes inspired, but no, she even went and betrayed me by dating my crush behind my back. I‘ve had a person copy me, when they looked the opposite of me, the hobbies I enjoyed, the clothes I’d wear, the hair cut. It repulsed me, I worked hard, and did the inner work to be my authentic self. They chose to be greedy.

I see them for who they really are.. I just focus on my own life and improving myself to be better, have a better relationship with myself and GOD, etc. I don’t do anything to offend this person but they keep attempting to exceed their boundaries with me and I step off because I’ve learned from previous experiences that people like that are dangerous. It’s unhealthy to be fixated on someone else, and trying to be like them because it suggests that they feel less than, unlovable, attention hungry, etc. I stay away from jealous people because they will do a lot of damage in f you aren’t careful of them. I only want good and kind, genuine people around me. They will disrespect you any way they can and try to put you in the limelight as though you’re a bad person or as though you’ve done something wrong simply by choosing not to associate with them. I just watch them until I make my exit.
