So even if values gets “deleted” lets say from lists, its just gonna be the value people put on vehicles, aka community, or in other words, its not really getting deleted, ever.

Thats why lists are only a guide, other than that theres no other known way people can control the market. In other words ask people / ask in discord server for more accurate values, and it’ll always work regardless of what lists say. I think trading is fine, but people definitely step over the line when they start cross-game trading. The amount of lobbies I’ve entered with peoples trading tags as, “trading scorp for MM2 godlys!!” is just too much. It gets more ridiculous with people trying to trade vehicles for Robux. It’s such an easy scam for newer players to fall for and it pains me to see that it’s the path that parts of the trading community seem to be taking.
While I hate games like pet simulator x, they did have a really good mechanic: auctioning. If jailbreak added a way for people to sell/buy cars from other players for cash it would give a reason to grind
I think the last good update was the 2022 hyperchrome before trading came out, bc I would grind the game for 15 hrs in the summer to get 1 hyperchrome and it would be actually exclusive since I couldn’t trade it
If you ever go trading don’t trade your stuff cuz people will try to scam you and even if u know the values, the people will trade your og stuff for like a buncha torps and expensive stuff

As a player, who plays jailbreak since 2019 I can say that trading helped me out a lot! I got all the cars I didnt have, which is good for me (I have an addiction to own everything in games.. HELP) But yeah I can def agree that once you got everything, there is nothing to do in jailbreak sadly (besides grinding, which is boring) Thats why I hope we get new gameplay content one day

And the trading completely ruined the game also the unwanted seasons and cosmetic based updates as you said. We all just miss 2020> simple jailbreak but the game is completely so far from what it used to be due to items losing value and the dupes that came with the trading, Unwanted robberies adding and map expansions and just all this new crap . I dont think trading ruined jailbreak at all Trading was never a focus in development, and no one actually cares about cosmetics as you say, trading people are way more into cars than anything, it is true content has slowed down and theres no real gameplay additions, but it has nothing to do with “swarms of people into cosmetics”, the vast majority of people do play the game for the most part. In fact, trading has helped players get cars they couldn't get because they didn't play at the right time, not only for new players but also veterans at the game, there has been 23 seasons, and a few og seasons, thats a hell ton of time for a veteran to not play a few seasons and miss a few updates. The fact theres limited sucks, but theres no point in reverting it to make everything obtainable at this point so trading is def a help

Imagine playing minecraft but you only have access to items from the latest update and nothing before. It becomes boring. I do however think the system should be changed. A confirmation button saying “are you sure you want to make an unbalanced trade?” Would be all thats needed.

ngl asimo was probably happy and worked so hard to bring trading into the game, but of course it would bring a lot of hate. Look I love the game, 2020 I think when the beam hybrid came out, I grinded like crazy, all until when they added trading 😐 now I see 2024 kids with torpedo and other limited items like Bruh. I just dislike trading yk so idk. For example, back in the day I remember asimo saying that bringing limited stuff back like torpedo more specifically, would make the current owners unhappy, that's literally how they feel rn......I joined the jailbreak community in 2020, and I don't mind not owning limited items that was before 2020, when I joined servers back then it just felt rare to see the limited cars/skins in game, like the r8, raptor, bat mobile etc. NOW? oh geez I see them like every server I join like dude I just hate this.
