    I've used nearly every brokerage at different points and have found CMC to be the best. I'm normally investing in ETF's with $600-$700 a month. No brokerage, CHESS and access to international markets if needed.

    Awesome breakdown on the top share trading accounts in Oz. How about a deep dive into Fuse Minerals next? Keen to hear your thoughts.

    Does any of these mentioned let you invest via superannuation as tax effective investing

    Appreciate the intent and effort put into this video but the zipping around the web pages as you were talking about each option was so frustrating and distracting. I would have much preferred choosing a page of fees or services and just leave it there for me to view as you talked. But again thanks for the video. A lot of useful information included.

      You can go to these websites yourself…they probably don’t do that because this is a podcast and they’re trying to keep it to a time limit

    Do you choose what Share Registry you wish to sign up to? or do different shares use different registries?
    Eg. Can I just make an account with computershare and put all of my shares through them?

    • @RaskFinance
      @RaskFinance  11 месяцев назад

      You do not get a choice I’m afraid. The company or ETF provider chooses. Most likely it’s Link or Computershare. You can create an account at both. That’s the easiest way to see the majority of ASX shareholdings.

      You can't create an account with the share registry without ownership of shares which are registered with them. They will also send you a letter by post to validate your identity and address. Once you have account and one HIN with them any future shares with that particular registry will automatically show in your account.

    Nobody mentioned CMC

      Exactly what i thought. No brokerage fee for the first day trade below $1000 which is perfect for ETF dollar cost averaging. I've noticed that they don't mention it on any of their other podcast episodes when they talk about brokerage accounts.

      I'm on CMC after previously trying Stake, Superhero, Commsec and have also checked out Selfwealth & pearler. To me CMC is the complete package ($600-700 a month in ETFs with the odd individual choice when I come in to extra money)
      I still put a few bucks ion raiz each week for my kids but I'm always a little wary of their platform.

      The fact that they don’t mention CMC delegitimises these two clowns…clearly their opinions are biased

    Thank you for the great video. My enquiry: is the price of company different for different brokers and big broker like commsec can ensure better/lower price to buy?

    is there any risk on using superhero instead of pearler? I use pearler at the moment and I invest monthly. I dont want to pay the fee each month. Thinking to switch to superhero or some other with 0 to very low fee.

      They did say in the end which brokerage they use. Them telling you which you should use would be dishonest. They are not qualified or certified to do that anyway.

    Selfweath is useless, slow, cumbersome and clunky.
