Dope record! It's not about religion. It's about people getting caught up in religion instead of having you're own personal relationship with Christ. So many people get caught up in that word "religion", until they forget about the people that don't even go to church or even know about God. Basically you have to get outside of the walls of the church building and be a witness through your life and how you live. People will take notice that something's different about you man. Jesus went where the sinners were and walked with them. Remember...... great record even if I wasn't one of the 2 writers of the song.

I am catholic, and I struggled with religion so much, I prayed with tears in my eyes for answers, almost broke my mind reading and studying the scriptures, and I finally got it, I found Jesus through religion, I realized that I didn't need religion to find Him or to be with Him; nevertheless, religion (free from the claws of Satan) makes the road calmer, easier I might say... You travel the ocean by boat instead of swimming in it. Now, I praise Jesus in the eucharist every Sunday. But, that's just my point of view. It doesn't matter how infested may the church is with demons, Jesus is still there, so, I'm gonna be there, too.

I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. Amazing track. I feel like Crae is starting to get his point across to those who are still skeptical. He's still a great Christian and he's bring real, I don't know why that's so hard to undestand. Not every verse has to be about God. It's better to be a Christian and chill than be well, portrayed excellently in this song, religious and still worldly. This is a great song, even outside of Christianity.
