Right around this time the WWE was doing a great job of introducing great music to the masses. This was the theme to No Mercy. Drowing Pool Body for SummerSlam the same year...
This song I would play for one of students Zion who often sang songs about gang life, one in particular Murder on My Mind. He teased me about my music which helped me form a connection with him. That bond was never broken. He began to see the value of other genres of music. But everyday during math he would sing Murder on My Mind. And I would play this song. My heart still hasn’t healed from losing him. But this song brings a smile.
Started my night by listening to Skynyrd Tuesdays gone. Started searching through the related videos and found all the shit I listened to in 5th 6th and 7th grade from late 90s early 2000s. They did a very good job with this music video. It was very entertaining to watch. The crowd, the actors, and just the way the video matches the song it's a very well done.
I was there. It was filmed at the state fairgrounds in Memphis. There was a few breaks, but it was a party well into the night. And no, no matter how many times I've seen this video, I haven't been able to find myself. They did a callout over the radio the morning of, and invited anyone who wanted to come. It was in the fall of 2000.
C'mon c'mon, c'mon c'mon On those Saturdays when kids go out and play, Yo I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze, Wasn't faded, not jaded Just a kid with a pad and pen and a big imagination. My mom and dad weren't perfect, But still you don't hear no cryin' ass bitchin' from me, Like there seems to be on everybody's CD So just sit back and relax and let me have your head for a minute, I can show you something in it, That has yet to be presented, Oh yeah! Click, click boom. I'm coming down on the stereo, Hear me on the radio, Click, click boom. I'm coming down with the new style and you know it's buck wild. Click, click boom I'm on the radio station touring round the nation, Leaving the scene in devastation. Why have I clouded up my mind, Why's my mother always right, And will I make it to the end? Or will I crawl away and die? Click, click, boom. Click, click boom. Click, click boom. Click, click boom. On those Saturday when kids go out and play yo I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze on Saturdays When kids go out and play, I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze It's all inside of me It's all inside of me It's all inside of me It's all inside of my head. It's all inside of me It's coming over me. It's all inside of me It's all inside my head, yeah! Click, click boom I'm coming down on the stereo hear me on the radio. I first saw this band, when they won a radio contest I knew nothing about. They opened for a band who opened for a band and blew my mind. It had been awhile since a good ole Canadian band caught my attention like this. They killed it!! Finally!! I had to compliment the band afterwards, did a shot with them too. Very cool guys. All the members are so talented!! They all write, play and sing in multiple bands. They also share more Canadian bands which I appreciate. Our music system needs all the help it can get. Share!! ❤
To me Saliva is like the perfect combination of POD, Bizkit, and korn
So fking true
Holy shit it’s perfect

Fuck yea man, when i heard this on shuffle once on i thought it was a Bizkit colab

Hard to believe this song turns 20 years old this year.
Yes Bro, 20 years... I miss 2000s.
Yep, still rock out to this song!
Holy shi- I was 11 0.0
Lol, this comment just made me realize how old I’m getting.
Great, now I feel ancient. Thanks Emperor.
Doesn't matter the genre, pissed off angry music always rocks!
Legend has it 3:47 he's still headbanging in the same place.
When I was little this was my mom's favorite song and she used to sing it to me every night while she was going through chemotherapy. When she was on her death bed her last words were "click click boom". Hearing it today still brings tears to my eyes.
I came here just to make sure somebody had already made this comment.
@@mitchgosche3618 Ahaha. Me as well!

Click..click..BOOM!
Right around this time the WWE was doing a great job of introducing great music to the masses. This was the theme to No Mercy. Drowing Pool Body for SummerSlam the same year...
And Drowning Pool performed at Wrestlemania 18( I think it was 18. Can't remember and I was there lol) it was at the Skydome in Toronto Ontario.
holy shit, I forgot about this band and the song lol it's been so long
This song I would play for one of students Zion who often sang songs about gang life, one in particular Murder on My Mind. He teased me about my music which helped me form a connection with him. That bond was never broken. He began to see the value of other genres of music. But everyday during math he would sing Murder on My Mind. And I would play this song. My heart still hasn’t healed from losing him. But this song brings a smile.
This song goes hard and never gets old its just one of those songs that frees your mind
Started my night by listening to Skynyrd Tuesdays gone. Started searching through the related videos and found all the shit I listened to in 5th 6th and 7th grade from late 90s early 2000s. Chevelle, cold, korn, alien ant farm, blood hound gang. Limp bizkit, pod, saliva, live, ect Ect. A trip down memory lane. Haha
You Rock Derek I'm a little older than you!!
I dont always listen to Saliva, but when I do all of my neighbors do too.
For fucking real

It will be better again. These things come in cycles. Cheers.
He was actually playing Minesweeper up in his room like the rest of us 90's kids, that's what click, click, boom really means.
+Ryan Sullivan shit you got 2 squares before you lost you must have been a legend.

I play minesweeper and I'm 17 ._.
The generation now days will never have the amazing sounds and feeling of music from the 90s and early 2000s. Absolute amazing era for music. Long live these golden years those of us that were all blessed to grow up with
Agreed. Even though I was born in the late 2000's, absolutely love the 90's and early 2000's
100%, yes
I miss those days when ROCK & ROLL was Rock and Roll
They have it if they want it, thanks to the internet. Luckily, these gems are preserved through this weird era of copy/paste lameness, so that folks with taste have a way to listen to good music
I'm old enough to claim your music era plus the 60's 70's and 80's. All were slamming in their own ways.
My 55 year old brother brought me to this concert in New Haven ,Ct he is battling 4th stage throat Cancer … We now live in Florida. He is probably the 💪💪💪Person I’ve ever seen . I Drive him around Blasting this Song … You’ve Got Another Thing Coming 🤘🤘🤘
I'm 60...it's all inside me ..inside my head ..click click boom
I'm 60 too... Gotta play air guitar and pussh it hard.....make it intense.
Not me as a grown-ass man realizing "click-click" is the sound of the pen being opened, and "boom" is the pen hitting the paper. Metaphors are neat.
Holy shit. I've had this song on regular rotation for over 20 years and I just now realized this, thanks to you.

@@KeithRozzell-ip2jx
Do you need an ambulance?
I thought the "click click" was him punching the boom box keys and the 'boom' was the music blasting.

I got free tickets too see these guys in Detroit in 2007!!!!! I for sure knew them… and I had noooooo clue how absolutely amazing they are to see perform live!!!!! They fckn did amazing. They played a couple of amazing covers…. Completely shook the roof and bounced after atleast 2 hours of straight playin. I spent some time with their guitarist at the time after the show…. He was a super dope dude… and we were about to leave together to get to a ride…. But I fckn hesitated and probably missed one of the best times of my life. However… I’m still blessed…. I been able to have many best nights of my life before and after…. The year before in 06’ is when Robert Plant dropped his new album with the old bass player…
John Paul Jones (an absolute legendary event) smell the smoke of all the flower burning up on the grass hill at spring brook in northern Detroit with an amazing person who gave me free vip tickets that were 4th row seats…. Got too look them both in the eyes…. And wow…. Just seeing the eyes will bring you in and tell you a story everybody. This was very awesome to go to both….
I was front row at the Saliva concert….
Fckn bringing back!!! I’m over here commenting flashbacks hahaha
Not all flashbacks are good for me personally…. But I’ll ride this wave everytime it comes in.
Thanks for reading, if you did. If not.. it’s still a blessed day.

So funny cuz I went thru the comments just now to see if anyone commented on how this video makes no sense at all lol

Seriously, How long was Saliva’s set? They played from day to night.
Hey Leslie shut up!!!!
C'mon c'mon, c'mon c'mon
On those Saturdays when kids go out and play,
Yo I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze,
Wasn't faded, not jaded
Just a kid with a pad and pen and a big imagination.
All this, I seek,
I find I push the envelope to the line,
Make it, break it, take it
Until I'm overrated.
Click, click boom.
I'm coming down on the stereo,
Hear me on the radio,
Click, click boom.
I'm coming down with the new style and you know it's buck wild.
Click, click boom
I'm on the radio station touring round the nation,
Leaving the scene in devastation.
I can see it in my mind,
I can see it in their eyes.
It's close enough to touch it now,
But far away enough to die.
What the hell is wrong with me?
My mom and dad weren't perfect,
But still you don't hear no cryin' ass bitchin' from me,
Like there seems to be on everybody's CD
So just sit back and relax and let me have your head for a minute,
I can show you something in it,
That has yet to be presented,
Oh yeah!
Click, click boom.
I'm coming down on the stereo,
Hear me on the radio,
Click, click boom.
I'm coming down with the new style and you know it's buck wild.
Click, click boom
I'm on the radio station touring round the nation,
Leaving the scene in devastation.
Why have I clouded up my mind,
Why's my mother always right,
And will I make it to the end?
Or will I crawl away and die?
Click, click, boom.
Click, click boom.
Click, click boom.
Click, click boom.
