I think the character of Brian needs to return for one of the later installments. If this is the Infinity War/Endgame of the franchise, then it certainly makes sense.
There'd have to be a fine line of treating Paul Walker's death with respect, such as only using existing footage. I don't know if they have enough stuff to work with to manage that.
I think the location during the scene where Dom is being chased in Portugal was so similar to the scene in fast 6 where he saves Letty by jumping across the two roads.

we don't actually see the Sub destroyed just that the heat sinking hit it causing a fireball at the sub which the team was able to shield Dom with their cars while on the ice. If the impact had been strong enough to destroy the sub then the ice would have melted and all of them would have broken through the ice.

There's not a single thing about this franchise that's more important than meets the eyye. Movie's like this making a shit ton of money at the box office is the main reason why these studios feel like they'll eventually not have to worry about paying writers for scripts when audiences continue to pay to watch shit written by things like A.I. or Vin Diesel

As a massive Fast and Furious fan I’m pleased to say none of these moments and references “slipped by me”. It was a great list though and now can’t wait for Fast 11.

Did anybody else notice from the bridge scene in FX where Dante kidnapped lil B and then Dom forced Dante’s car and his charge into a 180 spin so lil B can jump back into Dom’s charger. That same move was used in F7 to trade Ramsey from Brian’s gtr to Roman’s muscle car when they was being chased by the drone.
If Elena is somehow reborn on Fast XI or XII (I’m sure she will), please ask her to explain that Little Brian is Dom’s. because that kid looks really different than the daddy
There is no Fast XI or XII, Fast X is going to be a multi part film instead which was approved for 2 parts before filming and upon the studio seeing part 1 asked if they could get a part 3. After Fast X is completed the Franchise will be Spinoff films like Hobbs and Shaw where different members will go off on their own adventures but will at the end of the day still be part of the Fast and Furious films.

@@syairaziwazini5171 First off Giselle works for The Agency and it was Tess that arranged Cypher to aid Letty to escape the base so it would make sense that Tess was also behind Giselle showing up with the Sub telling Cypher to take Letty to that location for a getaway vehicle, The Agency was already chasing Cypher when Giselle "died". Second We did see Elena dead since we saw her shot body during that scene and obviously Dom was present when her body was removed from the plane since he had access up to the glass the entire time he was on the plane. Third all resurrections we never saw the body as they died, but was left to assumed they were dead with Han having a burned up body Dom was told was Han's to bury but we only see Han in the car moments before it was hit so there could have been a fireproof section he dropped into before the explosion and then a burnt body was swapped out when The Agency arrive disguised as Emergency Personnel. Letty they were told died during a law enforcement mission but nobody involved with the mission was present and they admit there was no body found at the crash site. Giselle we saw fall out of a car on a runway that NOBODY drove back to collect so it would be easy for a Mysterious Vehicle from the Agency to be following them to pick her up and take her back to their base. We learned from Han that Giselle worked for Mr Nobody and that is why Mr Nobody decided to stage his death while recruiting him to The Agency in Tokyo.

I think it'd be nice if Dom and Han got new RX-7s. Obviously both with their respective Veilside kits. Also a reference to the RX-7 FD's increased value (irl mostly due to them) would be funny. Also, Fast X's opening scene (Little Brian hooning the 1970 Charger around the Dodgers Stadium parking lot is a direct parallel to the first movie's opening scene of Brian doing the same with his Eclipse GSX.
Also on the door of little Brian’s room a blue camero and orange dodge challenger can be seen referencing the cars Brian and Roman won in Miami during fast and furious 2

We never see Giselle's body and there was never a funeral or reference to a funeral for Giselle. So either they just left her injured body on the runway for the authorities to recover or there wasn't a body to recover and somehow Cipher was there and picked her up and assisted in Giselles recovery.
Wasn't Cipher it was the agency, we seen in this film they can quickly heal people and it was his daughter who set up Letty's escape with Cyphers help, so having Giselle show up with the Sub was par of the escape plan. We also know Giselle was a agent since that was why Mr Nobody staged Han's Death then had Han working for him in Tokyo as a ghost for years while the rest of the crew believed he was dead until Dom got the Postcard and realized it was sent after the funeral.
Next film will have a very different team.. Dom, Hobbs, Gisele, Letty, Cipher, maybe Deckard and Owen? Was Deckard in the plane? I don’t remember 😅 then in the third film, if it’s true, everyone will come together
There were also other callbacks that weren't mentioned in this video. The bridge scene, where Dante and Dom confront each other, served as a riveting callback to the intensity of Fast 5. Additionally, Dom compelling his son to leap out of the moving car reminded me of Fast & Furious 6 when Dom heroically rescued Letty. Not only did callbacks extend far beyond Han's iconic orange and black aesthetics but also to the iconic flip-car from Fast & Furious 6, which was seen when the team went to Deckard Shaw's hideout, and also the submarine.
The leap from the car was a callback to when Vince was stuck on the truck and Brian jumped on to untie him, then jump at the right time back into the Supra
i guess thats where theyve drawn the line between story arc and real life. for dante, his whole crew is one, that includes brian which is fighting behind the scenes
This is why I hate to say this but if they weren’t gonna recast they should have killed Brian. I think the reason they give is bull “Brain has a family so he should retire”. Because in Fast 6 Brain has wife and kid but when Dom tell him that Letty is alive and I’m going after her. He didn’t hesitate to say I am going with you. You would think that when Dom goes evil, Fast 8, Brian would be the first person there to try and save brother-in-law/best friend. Then if you jump to Fast X, this might be a spoiler so read at your risk. First they are having a barbecue and Brain not there. Second Jason Momoa aka Dante whole thing is getting revenge on Dom by going after his “Family” Letty, Roman, Han, Ramsey, Tej, Jakob, and Mia yet some how Brain is safe? So, unless it’s addressed in a sequel, Dante decided that Brain doesn’t need to get revenge on? So at this point if your not gonna cgi or recast him then I’m perfectly fine if the Fast 11 open with Brain dying off screen.
I don't know if this is a callback but: As the injured Cipher limps towards the Toretto house, her blood-soaked hands would cover the house's mailbox which has the house number of 1327. Her blood only covered the 32 from the 1327 to form 17. 17 is a reference to the car number that Dom's father, Jack race with on his car from the last film just moments before his death.

You missed one call back: When Dom says "You only made one mistake...you didn't take my car", it was because Dom always tunes his car with enough torque to pop a wheelie on the starting line (like the Charger in the 1st movie), which is the only reason he was able to jump the guardrail to the dam and escape the big rigs crashing. Had he been in any other vehicle, his fate would've been sealed.

There is no Fast XI or XII, Fast X is going to be a multi part film instead which was approved for 2 parts before filming and upon the studio seeing part 1 asked if they could get a part 3. After Fast X is completed the Franchise will be Spinoff films like Hobbs and Shaw where different members will go off on their own adventures but will at the end of the day still be part of the Fast and Furious films.

@@syairaziwazini5171 First off Giselle works for The Agency and it was Tess that arranged Cypher to aid Letty to escape the base so it would make sense that Tess was also behind Giselle showing up with the Sub telling Cypher to take Letty to that location for a getaway vehicle, The Agency was already chasing Cypher when Giselle "died". Second We did see Elena dead since we saw her shot body during that scene and obviously Dom was present when her body was removed from the plane since he had access up to the glass the entire time he was on the plane. Third all resurrections we never saw the body as they died, but was left to assumed they were dead with Han having a burned up body Dom was told was Han's to bury but we only see Han in the car moments before it was hit so there could have been a fireproof section he dropped into before the explosion and then a burnt body was swapped out when The Agency arrive disguised as Emergency Personnel. Letty they were told died during a law enforcement mission but nobody involved with the mission was present and they admit there was no body found at the crash site. Giselle we saw fall out of a car on a runway that NOBODY drove back to collect so it would be easy for a Mysterious Vehicle from the Agency to be following them to pick her up and take her back to their base. We learned from Han that Giselle worked for Mr Nobody and that is why Mr Nobody decided to stage his death while recruiting him to The Agency in Tokyo.

We never see Giselle's body and there was never a funeral or reference to a funeral for Giselle. So either they just left her injured body on the runway for the authorities to recover or there wasn't a body to recover and somehow Cipher was there and picked her up and assisted in Giselles recovery.
Wasn't Cipher it was the agency, we seen in this film they can quickly heal people and it was his daughter who set up Letty's escape with Cyphers help, so having Giselle show up with the Sub was par of the escape plan. We also know Giselle was a agent since that was why Mr Nobody staged Han's Death then had Han working for him in Tokyo as a ghost for years while the rest of the crew believed he was dead until Dom got the Postcard and realized it was sent after the funeral.

There were also other callbacks that weren't mentioned in this video. The bridge scene, where Dante and Dom confront each other, served as a riveting callback to the intensity of Fast 5. Additionally, Dom compelling his son to leap out of the moving car reminded me of Fast & Furious 6 when Dom heroically rescued Letty. Not only did callbacks extend far beyond Han's iconic orange and black aesthetics but also to the iconic flip-car from Fast & Furious 6, which was seen when the team went to Deckard Shaw's hideout, and also the submarine.
The leap from the car was a callback to when Vince was stuck on the truck and Brian jumped on to untie him, then jump at the right time back into the Supra

This is why I hate to say this but if they weren’t gonna recast they should have killed Brian. I think the reason they give is bull “Brain has a family so he should retire”. Because in Fast 6 Brain has wife and kid but when Dom tell him that Letty is alive and I’m going after her. He didn’t hesitate to say I am going with you. You would think that when Dom goes evil, Fast 8, Brian would be the first person there to try and save brother-in-law/best friend. Then if you jump to Fast X, this might be a spoiler so read at your risk.
First they are having a barbecue and Brain not there. Second Jason Momoa aka Dante whole thing is getting revenge on Dom by going after his “Family” Letty, Roman, Han, Ramsey, Tej, Jakob, and Mia yet some how Brain is safe? So, unless it’s addressed in a sequel, Dante decided that Brain doesn’t need to get revenge on?
So at this point if your not gonna cgi or recast him then I’m perfectly fine if the Fast 11 open with Brain dying off screen.

You missed one call back: When Dom says "You only made one mistake...you didn't take my car", it was because Dom always tunes his car with enough torque to pop a wheelie on the starting line (like the Charger in the 1st movie), which is the only reason he was able to jump the guardrail to the dam and escape the big rigs crashing. Had he been in any other vehicle, his fate would've been sealed.
