Awesome grocery haul Brandon, thanks for going through the pricing at the end of the vlog. I have never been to Costco, going to go on the weekend. My closest one is Marsden Park. Looking forward to it after the inspiration from this video.
I've always preferred self checkout but usually at the times I shop, there's only one register open anyway and I don't want to queue for it, haha. Woolies is my most convenient supermarket so most of my shopping is done there with Aldi and Coles done whenever I'm near them to stock up on the own brand items I prefer from those.
Aldi, Costco, health food store and specials at Coles or Woollies (not often the last two). Shop for only what we eat and make sure we have no waste at all. Using up everything in the fridge and pantry.
Wow I think that’s why you were suggested on my channel because I live in Oran park and we’re neighbours love your videos and your wife channel. Love your content.
I usually go to Woolworths at Macquarie Park (another park haha). I prefer to do self checkout as I like packaging my own stuff. The recycle and earn thing is a nice tip but we recently started using a carbonator and that's saved us a lot of cans. Those were some expensive tomatoes! My go-to coffee drink is usually a magic or whatever pourover the roasters decide to send me. PS: I'm a huge mango fan too. Hi Camille!
For 2 people food spend average between restaurant and groceries is $250.00/300.00 week. If we're working ( mostly during summer which I hate the weather cos we work outside but basically I don't like summer weather ) we spend more by eating at resto and buy ready made food.
Oooh thats not to bad. I think out groceries vary from $150 to $200 a week and then maybe $200 a week eating out. But will be lower if we cook at home more.
@@BrandonSayasane Woolworths and HelloFresh mostly but sometimes Cole’s, Costco, or Supabarn. I use to visit Aldi’s back in the states but only walked through one here.
I'm from Western sydney and we have more woolies stores than Coles. At least in my area. So when I started going to the eastern suburbs (where my partner lives) I was surprised that Coles was more accessible. I also tend to pick self-serve just cause I'm a bit anti social lol. Love the vid :)
Thanks for watching! Yeah I think depending on where you live there will be more of one supermarket chain. When I lived closer to the city I found more Coles.
We usually do a mix of shopping between Aldi and coles. Considering getting a costco membership for cat food and cat litter. The larosh posay cicaplast baume b5 from chemist warehouse will be the best moisturiser. Or try cerave moisturiser. 🙂
Thanks for watching. I should try shopping at Aldi. I keep reading its cheaper. Costco membership is pretty good, I tend to go fornightly. They have unique stuff there as well as the bulk cost savinhs. I will have a look at your moisturiser recommendations.
Ah for the Chipotle sauce never tried before so wanted to try a branded one and then later compare to generic. The Salsa and tortillas, to be honest didnt see the Coles one plus since it was specific with Friends, didnt mind paying a bit more.
@@BrandonSayasane The normal one tastes slightly different, probably just a tad bit more hazelnut flava & a temporary sweet aftertaste in the mouth. Maybe it's just me though 🥲. LOL i'm weak... Please try both versions if you get a chance to do so. I'd like to know your thoughts 🙂
I prefer self check out to be honest to prevent people from holding my food. Almost all cashier wearing gloves but its only for them self. They touch the food from other people touch... so self check out is way to go for me.
Now at Coles when am item doesn't scan properly and you have to call the attendant over the register now replays a video clip from directly above showing if you scanned the item. Along with the camera right in your face I am pretty tired of being treated like a thief by Coles.
@@BrandonSayasane excellent! I’m actually very curious to see how the Go 3 S looks in places like grocery stores, malls, and inside. Looking forward to your tests with your new cam! I want to get one. How are you liking it?
yeah its generally cheaper. But if I use the 7-eleven app and do the Fuel Lock deal it can be cheaper or same price. Depends on the day. If your in NSW use the NSW Fuel Check App to see best prices in the area.
Even at my age I still love spiral pasta. Corned beef is my favorite as well, and I think it’s one of the sought after food here in PH. Did your wife tried PH mangoes when you went here? Also, Self check-out counter is not the norm here in PH. I was able to first experience it when I went to Dubai, and I had fun doing it. Although, it took me time to do it properly without a store rep supervision 😅
Love curly or spiral pasta. And yes my wife has tried mangoes in the Phils, they are sweet. Ha ha you'll eventually get used to the self serve checkout.
@@bienalbertmacabali469 I went grocery in the Phils and I can say the check out lines are horrible. So slow. But the variety of stuff available is amazing.
@@BrandonSayasanewhich supermarket did you go to? If it was SM, they were really notorious having long lines and poor service. Yeah, SM Supermarket are really quite big.
Wow, how long does it usually take you guys to save up so many bottles and cans? I enjoyed the price breakdown of the groceries. Spiral pasta is not childish hahaha
i feel like we getting scammed my honest advice when i was 10 years old this stuff was never so expensive also comparing meat prices to the stock market something is not adding up. i understand most factor's have moved overseas also maybe the reason for it.
Well, if they really do $.10/btl, I will be so happy collecting my recycle, what they usually do, they pay by weight even though on the bottle says $.10/btl, very rarely recycle center they pay you per btl. We don't usually drink bottle or can drink. Recycle I got is from next door. Her son only drink soda rarely drinks water ( go figure). She wants me to recycle then the money she gives to Marco snack ( my fury baby). Marco has 200 dollar something in his piggy bank.
Oooh recycle by weight thats interesting. Yeah the Return and Earn is a government program here in New South Wales(NSW State) Australia 10c a bottle/can. But $200 fund for doggy snacks lol. Gonna be spoiled.

Thanks for watching. Biggest problem with Costco for me is I tend to overspend lol. So many things you can buy.

@Sensei_888 definitely true. Will look into side hustles.

That’s an insane amount… I have a family of 4 with 2 being teen boys and our groceries in Canberra are about $150/week.

Noted thanks! Will have to give it a try.
1 Shop all stores to get best deal. Costco every couple of months for pet needs (litter is great) and mince (great value) plus a few other bits
If I go Coles or Woolies I tend to buy only the 50% off items unless we need specific items. But yes Costco, bulk whatever lol

Also the cooked hot chickens at Costco are excellent you can use this for different recipes
Yes. I havent tried a lot of people in the comments also say its good. Last couple of times has been massive lines.
Wow amazing sharing bro❤Please stay connected 🙏

Prefer the nescafe hazelnut flava with 98% less sugar. Need to cut down on sugar 😅. Yumi's Avo dip is good !
Yeah I should also cut down on sugar. Have you tried the normal version? Cause I am curious if it tastes the same but just less sugar.
