Thanks for sharing this wonderful craft exhibition with us. It was especially exciting to see the Assisi embroidery in the beginning of the video, as the stitch used for the background of the pieces is the stitch that I'm using for my towel motifs. I love your purchases and look forward to seeing how you use everything. Most importantly, I'm super excited that your vyshyvanka is finished and that we'll get to see it in the next video!!! 😀💖
Thank you for sharing about your trip. To make a round tablecloth you wouldn't need a pattern. I have made many as I prefer round tables. Measure your table from one end to the other by placing the measuring tape in the center; that would be your diameter. Usually I have a material which is not wide enough, so as to cover the whole width, in that case, try not to saw the two pieces in the center, but do it in the side which is less noticeable. Use at least 7 inches of hem (diameter + 14 inches) In case you need to calculate the circle to add lace or a bias around, use the formula of the circumference. Fold your fabric in fourths and trace the radius. Hope this helps you.
Thank you! That's very helpful description. I was thinking to do some patchwork as well to beautifully connect the four fabrics I have. Maybe something simple. Thanks for the tips
I enjoy your videos so much. Pink may not be your favorite color but it is a very healing color and you need that right now. With everything going on in Ukraine I think pink is the perfect color to surround yourself with. It’s the color that hospitals use many times in pediatric wards. I have a pattern for a round tablecloth that is on one page of an old book I will try to copy that and get it to you. Do you have an email address I can use? If the walls in your dining room are the same color pink those green fabrics you bought will look fantastic as a tablecloth.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I agree, pink can be very healing color. And it goes well with green. I'm curios to get an inspiration from the pattern you have. 😊 My e-mail is uaheritagestitching@gmail.com and it is listed in the channel description as well. Happy stitching!
Hi! Thank you for the shopping video! I didn't know about the variegated DMC perlé cotton. Merceria Bergamasco is actually located in Gualdo Tadino which is in Umbria, near Perugia and Assisi!
@@HeritageStitching I also supposed it was in Bergamo, but then I went to Perugia and I was looking for a haberdashry shop, so I discover that there was this huge shop near Perugia. I didn't visit them, unfortunately I was busy... what a pity! I hope to go again another time 🙂
Another joyful journey with you. Your hands were lovely❤. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you! 😊

I had to look up Bergamo on the map! I love visiting all these places with your videos!
Bergamo is gorgeous city! Worth visiting on its own.

Thanks! My knowledge of Italian geography is limited to GPS navigator :)
