  • I made the strategic decision to acquire a pre-owned Morgana Major to enhance my workflow, addressing tasks beyond the capabilities of my Konica Minolta equipment.
Join me in this video as I embark on the journey of trying to figure out how to use the Morgana Major Paper Folding Machine. Along the way, I did encounter some challenges.
Is this machine an asset to my business or a major waste of money.
Don't miss this episode to uncover the verdict!"

The Morgana Major is a great folder. Few things, first the O-Lap just means the sheet didn't enter in the time expected, so too slow or too fast through the gate. You had a double, but you corrected this by turning the double sheet feed the wrong way meaning the gate was higher. We set ours so you can just about move a single sheet underneath it, basically the gate is lightly scratching against the sheet. Speed doesn't matter for stock weight, should work at any speed. The machine should have come with a catch tray which replaces the lower folding plate and a adaptor, you'll need this for anything higher than 170gsm, comes out flat. The adaptor is also used for fitting perforating and scoring wheels. Just remember your grain direction when printing will assist your folding and limit cracking on the fold, although I'd keep an eye for Morgana Autocreaser which I'd say is a must have. Best of luck with it.

Thank you for the tips :-) Unfortunately what is in the video is all I got, no catch plates. Would you have any idea why the bottom plate setting would be off?
