Fantastic Sir! I would choose only your lecture first to learn a topic which has immense intense that nobody can give.. Keep up the good work... I respect you a lot. Thank you!
Hi, I liked your teaching style and how you described Patch clamp technique in detail, even cell attached, in-side out and out-side out single channel recordings. It is indeed very hard for some one who does not have any working experience with patch clamp technique to demonstrate the whole thing in detail. Appreciations for that. However, I would like to clarify one issue which i found you got wrong in your presentation. Generally extracellular environment has greater amount of sodium ions than intracellular cytosol. And ion channels allow ions to pass down their electrochemical gradient. For this reason when sodium channel opens, sodium ions enters into the cell from extracellular space and it creates a +ve membrane potential inside of the cell and outside becomes -Ve. That is the mechanism behind action potential propagation. Hope this helps.
Thanks. How do we differentiate between the type of channel (sodium or calcium ) based on current? Secondly when we are using a whole-cell patch-clamp where is drug solution added?
Thanks much for the nice content. You are always great. I have a question. How could I know where the ion channel is? If I want to attach the pipet to the ion channel, I first need to know the location of that channel on the cell membrane. Could you please help me to know this?
can i get a power point lecture about patchclamp technique on a single fibre.its urgent so plz hlp me....i have a seminer within 4th may ....plese.....
Too much yapping with very less information. You could have utilized those 33 min smartly to explain the fundamentals & give out new info. What a waste!

Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
I am working on an advanced method for patch-clamp and lol whatever I have studied till date regarding it, is mostly summarized in this video.
Glad to help you out
Could you please tell me how to find the Ion-channel where the glass pipet will be attached?

+Giriraj Sahu thank you. Did I mention the ion movement wrong?
Yes, the sodium ions will travel outside to inside. And so also the charge notation. Best wishes..
Giri, listen carefully . Although his teaching style is good there are many technical mistakes.
May be we need to upload a technically correct video.
You are genius sir. I love and understand biology only for you. Tussi great ho
Tq sir for making us to learn in a simple and easy way u r slang and way of explanation is everything good....😍😍😍😍
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
@@shomusbiologyofficial tq..sir if I need a class i will search ur class only that much we preferred ur classes sir....
The voltage clamp explanation starts 10 minutes in.
Thank you sir.... Very nice informative and excellent lecture.... Sir... 🙂🙂🙂🤗
You're welcome
Super explanation bro
Thank you
Amazing explanation sir... thank you sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You're welcome
Thanks sir you explain very actively and try our best for all students

Amazing Lecture Thanku for these vedio sir.....
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Really helpful video. Thanks a lot
You're welcome
Will you please make a vedio of freeze facture technique it will help me a lot
Thank you so much Sir for this lecture
May Allah bless you Sir 🙏
Thank you for appreciating my efforts
Sir, is there any video on freeze fractured technique?
the sound needs a fixing..
You are the best somu sir
You're welcome
Somu can you plz have a single video regarding all electrophysiological tech and their uses?
Will. Make a video on that topic
Always Amazing
Thank you
my exam is on date 5 and see what i'm doing here, if my teacher had taught like this, i wont be here. Thanks to Shomu's Biology
very nice explanation
Excellent sir 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
very well explained
+prankur awasthi thank you. Glad it helped
Life saver 😍❣️
Thank you

You are my best Guru
Thank you.
Excellent video. Keep it up.
+Shahinur Rahaman thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
it helped me a lot. Thanks.
Thank you
Sir,if we undergo inside out and outside out we may remove the ion channel.....so the cell may get damaged? How to avoid this one?

Inter cellular membrane
Hello sir from where we can study this in more detail and in easy language
thank you very much sir 😊👌👍
You're welcome
Sometime sound is getting corrupted
Can u teach voltage clamp method and its uses?
Thank you sir
You're welcome
Make a smaller video next time plz
Thank you
God bless you sir
You're welcome
thank you sir.. please do a video on aquaporin water channel working..
very nice video
thanks
sir..pls do next voltage clump method sir.....pls do it.
Understood a lot...😊😊😊tq..
Good explainig ,bro))]
You're welcome
Sir here u mentioned the word "culture"...how do we do that......😢😢😢
Thanks bhai
Thanku sir
You're welcome
Voice cut ho rahi ha sir
thank you !
Amazingggggggg
Thank you

best👍
You're welcome
Excillent
Sir, -90 mv is the hyperpolarization state
Can anyone tell how the blue brain actually works
You could explain better
👎👎👎👎
Disappointing explanation.
Why?
