The 215's are louder but the sound quality and cleanliness in the 425's is much better. I have a 215 in my left ear and a 425 in my right to leave this comment.
well after watching this video you convinced me in getting these and I just received them yesterday and tried them 30 minutes ago... I am TOTALY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE IEM !!!! yes they sound clear but WHERE'S THE BASS ??????? I literally have to push them in in order to hear the bass which is not helpful at all while I'm drumming !!! I give them a 2/5
Shures are garbage lol. Get chu 2, zero 2, truthear gate, wan’er, etc.
Personally I have the gate and use longer tips, they work amazing!

Ive had my 215s used every Sunday going on 3 plus years. Looking to see if the 4s are worth the extra 150. Quality wise 215s are great.
Would you recommend this for Djs?

I stepped on my 425 broke em, went to home Depot 2 part epoxy fixed em beautifully for $7
