Featuring ITV Productions, ITV Studios, ITV DVD and ITV Studios Home Entertainment, this is mostly a combined ident and logo history. ITV stands for Independent Television, and became the first commercial network in the UK as it broadcasted for the first time on 22nd September 1955, with help from the IBA (Independent Broadcasting Authority). The next logo history will be on Channel Four.
