For the corpus build, I would go with gas over magnetic. The ice daggers will proc magnetic by mixing their ice with shock and then will do the freeze on top of that while spreading gas clouds. These things are broken. With influence, it is just more chaos.
I really recommend you use the seeing red evolution as it stacks your combo the fastest any melee can and the status damage is realistically only a 15% status damage boost because of diminishing returns
just don't say shit if you don't know how math works. To make it simple, increasing the smallest number in a chain of multiplication operations will give the largest increase to the end result. ie 2*3*3= 18. 2*4*3= 24 but 3*3*3= 27. Status damage is the smallest number in almost any damage equation outside of faction bonuses because there aren't a lot of sources to get it very high. Therefore adding status damage is not even close to diminishing returns yet and that evolution is hands down the best option on the weapon.
Status damage is a multiplier, so not additive to base like other base damage mods. Still not as strong as Bane’s multiplicative boost, but Status damage is universal as well. Also, the problem with Combo count chance, is that it becomes a dead stat once you hit 12x and maintain it. As in, at 12x, combo count chance stops working.
Nice build, you should try out a build with just electric, instead of the two viral mods put weeping wounds and a bane mod since influence double dips on banes but if you don’t like bane mods use berserker fury/gladiator vice for the extra cc bump and then put on a 90% elec mod and swap out condition overload for primed pressure since you are only gonna proc electric That’s what I run but I use a riven with elec cd as -slide It makes the electric higher proc priority and makes for more consistent influence procs.
@@alexandreboudteault-leblan3815 would probably be less damage that way, and would also mess up the element weighting. (Only might help on a melee with Forced electric procs)

Firstly I just want to say thank you for the builds, my friend mentioned something about a blast build with this melee and I was kinda surprised until I saw you build and reasoning. Secondly, this question is completely unrelated but, how did you get that ephemera type effect on your melee weapon?
@fiehry631 I believe that's just from the element on the weapon melee weapons get that effect from the modded element (i.e. heat creates flames, Toxin creates a green cloud, cold creates snow particle effects). You can also change the energy color on the weapon to change tire color

You may be able to mod for vortex with just a electric mod. Since the daggers force proc cold, and then proc the combined element (in this case magnetic). May be unreliable, probably not as strong as influence, but i would give it a shot.

It procs them together so you get cold + [element on weapon] so you could just put a load of elements on it and watch it be dumb
Thank you for this concept for this build I am working on a ash build that utilizes this weapon
I play gauss a lot and have the normal build on okina now, I’m going to try the blast build
Nami solo is the best incarnon melee imo
Yeah, that 1.0 follow through 360 heavy attack pairs so well with the range tennokai, gets like 10m range no riven

@blubbernuggets2223 don't need it since I use Naramon which counters the downside of diminishing combo [:

Agreed here.
Although, Banes actually triple dip when it comes to Melee influence, which is why they are so recommended for the arcane
Put nourish for viral instead 😉
