Kosas is one of those brands I refuse to buy. For that price, I expect it to be shelf stable. I can't wait for the clean beauty fad to die already... give me preservatives please!

Kosas Just don't want to admit that preservatives are not a bad thing and it's at a detriment to their brand and products! Even if you get a decent product from them, the price point and the shelf life are just not worth the hassle of buying it in the first place
Agree. I've bought a couple of their brow products and loved them until they were used up. However I haven't replaced them or bought anything else because of all the rancid stories out there. Trust in the quality is very low with me now.
I feel the same! The instability of their formulas plus the fact that they don’t acknowledge when things go wrong has totally turned me off of the brand
100%. The first and last Kosas product I bought was the cream blush. It went bad in a little over a month and I live in a very dry climate as well. I can’t imagine using their products in a humid environment 🤢

I personally was pretty disappointed with my Halara order (I live in Germany). I don't know if the products are completely different than the US version, but the quality is not great. Some pieces were like H&M quality, some worse. I sent two pairs of pants back because they smelled awfully chemical. It's the type of elastic smell that never really goes away. It's also super weird that they ask you to take pictures of the items you want to send back. A picture won't prove that it smells bad. The answer I got from Halara was "Just wash it". Genius; never thought about it! After a few back and forth emails they agreed that I may send them back. Let's hope that I get my money back. You also have to pay for the return package. I'm someone who almost exclusively shops online, and Halara has been a frustrating experience. I'm not trying to bash the recommendation, but many influencers are getting sponsored by the brand lately, and I'm struggling to understand the hype. Both the clothes and service/return process are not great. Am I the only one who thinks this way?
*Update* : I got my money back, and the customer service after this email has been good. They gave me a discount code, apologizing for my experience. I'm less disappointed, but won't purchase anything again.
I don't know why Kosas can't get it together. I have never had a single Rituel de Fille product turn on me. They also are fairly oil based and use almost no water in their products (water invites the microbes!) so I think that plays to their advantage.
I will only Buy products that have Preservatives in my makeup!! ❤❤ As a makeup collector it's nice to open up something I haven't used in awhile, and there isn't a funkfied Smell or Mold present!! But that's just me 😂❤
I got the Sniff Soda Snob. My first time buying from the brand. Nice thing is the brand includes a sample vial of the scent to try first so you can return if you don't like it which is great. Smells very zesty cola upon initial spray. Dry down is still very soda with a heavier cinnamon note. I don't get much Carmel or Vanilla on me other than a bit in the base. Scent lasts for many hours as well. I think I like it.
@@AngelicaNyqvist I think you would like Soda Snob. It is not sweet or heavy on the vanilla or caramel. I’d say it’s a complex warm spicy cola scent and I love the subtle hint of lime it has. I also agree on the longevity.

I use to always use a powder foundation and stopped a few years ago because I looked like a mummy who had been lit on fire and then left in the desert at high noon. So I’m actually super excited to try the ND powder foundation.
The old hydrating Fenty Foundation was my absolute favourite( combo skin), shade 150 was my absolute perfect match and my skin looked flawless all day , i can't wait to try this new one ! I can't wait Polin season too😅😅😅😅 I have watched again all seasons and QC story again😅😅😅😅
The Avatar comics are pretty decent, especially the new Azula one. The Korra comics are more hit and miss, which tracks with cartoon comics imo. I like how they handled Korra and Asami, but not so much with Kuvira. The novels are really good though, especially the Kyoshi ones. Definitely worth looking into if you want more from the characters and world!
I just got done reading the latest chapter on webtoons! The comics have been out for years but reading it this way is more convenient for me. The novels are amazing too if you have time to read em!

Amy's palette seems pretty accessible since the neutrals don't pull too ashy/grey. I think it would be flattering on many skin tones. I prefer warm leaning neutrals but cannot pull off shades that are too intensely red/orange/yellow or cool tones that are too grey. It can be tough to find neutrals that are truly neutral & softer more subtle colors that aren't too cool/grey. I am very particular with blue since it's a tricky shade for me to pull off in eyeshadow. Anyway, I hope you do a review on her palette, it may surprise you 😊
I think what's affordable is relative. $18 for a bronzer compared to $65 for a bronzer seems pretty affordable but compared to a $9 bronzer not so much. It really depends on what is accessible to you.

I think you should give made by Mitchell another shot. Emma rectangle sang the praises Cold heart 💜(a cool tone pink/purple) that I tried it. It is one of my favorite liquid blush of all time. Especially when am in my Barbie era. 10/10
I love kayali perfumes and especially the yum pistachio. We have the same tastes in perfumes and i never would have tried the yum pistachio if you hadnt have recommended it and im so pleased i did because i love it!! Cant wait to hear what you think of this new one

I have only ordered from the Beauty Bay website (informed by your experience!) and I have loved everything except a liner pencil that I ordered, and it was dried out and crusty within two months. But other than that, I've had great experiences with the shadows, blush, and liquid blush and highlight.

yes! ulta online is horrible. even the liquids all burst - i had a l’occitane almond oil burst and it got all over my whole order! mac glow play blush? forget about it! also it seemed like they were selling returns that weren’t quite full. like someone bought something, used it once for a tik tok, and returned it and ulta was like “ok we can just sell that!”
the ouai st. barts body & hair mist - i'm buying this immediately, lol. i didn't have a lot of funds during the sale, but i was able to get one of the $100 rouge rewards, and with it i bought the get-a-ouai set with the st. barts body wash & body lotion, then got the scrub separately, ready for summer. so i am going to treat myself to that spray. st. barts summer.

I am wearing Halara cargo pants today! I love Halara!!! ❤❤ I bought and have been using the ELF cooling primer. It’s cooling when you’re applying, however once you blend it in (I) don’t really feel it anymore. It’s a good primer and works. And, I LOVE the new bronzers they came out with. I use mine every day since I received it. And, the new blushes are pretty as well. I’m an ELF girly. We own stock in ELF so my husband never minds seeing ELF packages come in! 😂❤

My thoughts exactly on the Guerlain bee bronzer! It’s cute and I thought about getting it but quickly changed me mind when I saw it only came in one shade. That shade looks like it’d be too warm/dark/orange on me. They’re losing out on a lot of business by doing that.

I bought and have been using the ELF cooling primer. It’s cooling when you’re applying, however once you blend it in (I) don’t really feel it anymore. It’s a good primer and works. And, I LOVE the new bronzers they came out with. I use mine every day since I received it. And, the new blushes are pretty as well. I’m an ELF girly. We own stock in ELF so my husband never minds seeing ELF packages come in! 😂❤
