Although axelsen is a legend, he’s nowhere near lcw or ld

@@idk-w1n axelsen definitely dominates LD and LCW , the fact that after his injury he still manages to get gold and still claim the no. 1 title axelsen is far better now than them

@@fatcatbreadxd140 did u realise axelsen only rised up the ranking when lcw and ld retired, lcw was also diagnosed with nose cancer

@@idk-w1n bro axelsen is already no. 1 even when LD and LCW still plays, he was already rising up beyond them, he even beat LD in the olympics with only 2 sets 😂, tho I couldn't deny that lin dan and chong wei's prime would definitely beat axelsen, but were talking about in present times not in the past

      @@fatcatbreadxd140are you even serious?
Axelsen is young whereas other 2 are old. Comparing their current performance is dumb

Victor got it partially because LCW thought that was in the pocket so he didn’t smash hard on the last one.

A male singles player makes a high forehand serve and the commentator is shocked like "what's going on??". It's a legitimate service and you use it, just like with any other service, to break up a pattern or if you have a strategy. Hold your horses!

Prolly cause its not common in Men's Singles, most use the backhand low serve so seeing a Forehand high serve especially in a high professional level match like this is a surprise to them.

I did this once during our mens doubles. Guy CAUGHT the shuttle (the receiver) and said "stop serving forehand". I said get lost, wanker. Our point. I got the shuttle back from him and served the next point.

This forehand serve baits a smash therefore he serves it so high and reaching to the base line to make the smash more tiring and allow more time to react. Why he does that is probably axelsons short serve receive is on fire and a back hand flick isnt as reliable and as high to lob over axelsons height
