International relations are always based on interests. It is in Ukrain's interests to speak such things. But it is in India's interests to maintain healthy relations with Russia. USSR has helped us a lot because it was in their interest to challenge USA. But Russia has continued to help us by supplying oil at discounted rates, using Indian currency and also investing in India. Russia has got economic dependence on China which they try to balance having India by their side. Thus, mutual interests will continue a healthy relations. Indian ministry knows its position well, and Ukrain's opinion is of very little consequence to us.
