All the 6 sonatas are awesome ... thank you Michala, Hille and Mahan for these wonderful interpretations. Allow me one quesrion (as we now know which harpsichord Mahan is playing here): Which recorder does Michala play in these recordings? Range, flexibility and presence are amazing!
Looks like a Mollenhauer to me; earlymusicshop.com/collections/alto-treble-recorders/products/mollenhauer-modern-alto-recorder-with-e-foot-in-grenadilla
Viva Bach.

Adler - the 21st century recorder. (Not to be confused with the cheap school Adlers of the 1960s!)

I agree with Peter, definitely a Mollenhauer Modern with E-foot
Beautiful performance. Just one puzzling thing; the video appears to be totally out of synchronisation with the sound track... any idea why ?
What kind of harpsichord is that?
This is a new build instrument by Jukka Ollikka,- including a sound board of carbon fiber!
@@hanni150751 incredible sound! Thank you!
@@SeverusSnape70 I totally agree,- a much more interesting sound that we are used to hear from a harpsichord!
The International Touring Harpsichord
@@hanni150751 Ah, just like the carbon fibre ones in Bach's day I guess ;-)
